East View, Stunning Chapel Conversion
A beautifully presented former Chapel of bespoke architectural design which has been refurbished to an incredibly high standard with green energy efficiency in mind. Situated at the heart of the delightful market town of Middleton in Teesdale, the convenient location means guests can take full advantage of the local amenities. Nestled in the stunning Upper Teesdale countryside, within easy reach of High Force Waterfall and other visitor destinations.
The space Space and light greet guests as they enter East View House. A large open plan kitchen and dinning area are overlooked by the mezzanine lounge area. This area is reached via the Artisan handcrafted iron bridged walkway.
With 1940 sq feet the property can easily accommodate up to 6 persons. Water and heating are supplied by the ASHP and a MVHR system recycles the properties wasted heat, benefiting East View's carbon footprint. The MVHR also purifies the air and has been proven to benefit Asthma and allergy sufferers.
Bedroom 1 Located on the ground floor this room has an extra wide door and a Midnight Blue velvet kingsize bed. Antique furniture and original stained glass window floods the room with natural light in the morning. This bedroom is adjacent to the wet room
Wet Room The Wet Room has a Rainfall and hand held shower, with high level WC and low level sink to assist limited mobility guests. Shaver socket, natural slate shelving are enhanced by the marble underfloor heating.
Bedroom 2 Located on the first floor, this room has a Taupe double bed, with Chinoserie cupboard and Victorian Duchess dressing table. Internal stained glass windows and 3.5 metre drop curtain dresses the large arched external window. This room benefits from an ensuite shower room described below.
Ensuite Shower Room This room has a Rainfall/handheld shower, WC, shaver socket and basin with vanity cupboard. A towel rail heats the room.
Bedroom 3 Located on the first floor, this room has twin Marine Blue covered single beds. Unique hand crafted wardrobe and 3.5 metre drop curtains dress its main window. This room is adjacent to the main bathroom with a roll top bath.
Main Bathroom This room has a deep Victorian and Albert bath, WC, Shaver socket and vanity unit basin. Heated with a towel rail and underfloor heating.
Spare Bedroom/Work Area On the ground floor a spare small double bedroom has been allocated as a work area for guests with a table and sockets. This room also has an ensuite bathroom.
Ensuite This room has a Rainfall/handheld shower, WC, shaver socket and bespoke basin stand by local blacksmith, Nigel. A towel rail heats the room.
