This beautiful cottage is a short stroll from all attractions and has its own private hot tub. A perfect romantic retreat for two!. Step to entrance. Ground Floor: Living/dining room: With multi-fuel burner and Smart TV. Kitchen: With electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. Bathroom: With shower over bath, toilet and heated towel rail. First Floor: Bedroom: With zip and link super king size bed (can be twin beds on request) and en-suite toilet.. Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Welcome pack. Enclosed garden with private courtyard to the rear. Hot tub for 2 (private). On road parking. No smoking. . Fully restored in 2022, providing a luxury bolt hole in the market town of Barnard Castle. Oozing style and special touches, a perfect couples retreat. With a blend of traditional and contemporary features, Victoria Cottage has a truly welcoming style. The living space has a wonderful log burning stove set in an inglenook fireplace, comfortable sofa, and Smart TV - everything you need to feel at home especially in the cooler months. A fabulous shaker style kitchen is perfectly equipped to rustle up a hearty breakfast or romantic supper. The ground floor bathroom has a bath with shower. At bedtime relax and unwind in the super king-size bed dressed in quality bedlinen, ensuring a good nights sleep. As an extra treat, step outside and enjoy a bubbling hot tub for two, set in a private courtyard with decked area and seating. Perfect for walkers, cyclists and nature enthusiasts, Barnard Castle is set amongst some of the most magnificent countryside that the county has to offer. There are many public footpaths, established walks and cycle paths that lead through the town, alongside the River Tees and out into rolling countryside and beyond. In the heart of town, you will find a fantastic assortment of independent shops, galleries and cafe’s.

Lovely little cottage

Everything we needed was provided the property was clean and well finished Only issue was the fire to heat up the hot tub caused a significant amount of soot which was a bit of an issue when sitting outside
