    The living areas in this single-storey home consist of a kitchen/diner with an electric oven, gas hob, fridge, and washing machine, and a studio-style sitting room with TV, a selection f books, and a double bed, serviced by a shower room. Outside there is a side garden with lawned area, and a shared driveway. One well-behaved dog welcomed, but sorry, no smoking. WiFi, fuel, power, bed linen and towels are all included in the price. You'll find a shop in 2.2 miles, a pub in 1.4 miles and River Yeo in 0.1 miles. Priory House Cottage is a charming base for a romantic break to Devon. Note: There is a step up into the property. Note: Check-in from 4pm, check-out by 10am. Note: WiFi can be temperamental at times, due to rural location. Please note: this property can only accommodate a minimum of 3 nights. Please note: the property can only accommodate weekly breaks on Mondays and Fridays. No checkouts on Saturday or Sunday without checking with housekeeper

The town is well known for its floral displays and has won a Britain in Bloom award; you may see flowers across the town, even in the most unexpected places. The picturesque Tarka line railway excursion, which passes through the breath-taking North Devon landscape of wooded river valleys, steep moorland, and a section of coastline, ends in Barnstaple.
