"This is a dream hotel. You feel like in a postcard . Jane was kind and helpful and Gabrielle and Davide always with a smile. It felt like a true holiday and we just didn't want to leave.... "Raffaella was an absolute pleasure, so helpful and charming. The property was just what we were hoping for with its accessibility to the various locales in the Piemonte area. Hotel Villa Beccaris

Hotel Villa Beccaris

8/10 Good
"I only rated this property a 4 because of the mattress, pillows and shower stall. The property is beautiful, well maintained and has stunning views! Breakfast was good and part of the room stay. A small complimentary bottle of wine is given to guests on day of arrival but there is no complimentary water. The beds were not comfortable. You could feel the wire coil springs when you lay down. The pillows are flat, so if you’re used to a soft pillow there are none. July is a very hot time of year and the room we stayed in was very warm (25 Celsius which is about 77 Degrees in F). There are too many mosquitoes to open windows to let cooler air in the evening. We had personal portable fans which we used to try to keep cool. We only stayed 2 nights so it was somewhat bearable. We did love the area. The hotel sits at the top of the mountain so definitely wear comfortable shoes to walk the hilly cobblestone paths"

"We really liked the location of the guesthouse. We had a room with a balcony and views of the valley which was beautiful. The property is in a very small village and there is not much to see there, but as long as you have a car you can get to Barolo or La Morra in 5 minutes. There's a small pool at the property that our kids enjoyed cooling off in. The room was clean and adequate for our purposes. Staff were helpful and nice."
