Staff was friendly and helpful. The activity center pool area was very nice and clean. The unit we stayed in was clean, spacious, had everything we needed for meals. It was dated, could use some updates, but it was clean, comfortable and the area was beautiful. The other guests were friendly and it was quiet and peaceful. There was an issue with the dishwasher and the staff and maintenance had it taken care of immediately! Would definitely stay again.

A lot of rental for a little money

Great location, lots of space, very reasonable rates, great pool and hot tub. Can't beat it for lower-priced, roomy accomadations near Bryce.

Our place was way larger than expected! Very clean and fully stocked. Excellent prices. Their pool is amazing. Heated, salt water with the hot tub right next to it which made it easy to watch the kids swim. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the pool and activities close very early. Both nights it closed at 5. I would definitely stay here again. Luray caverns was a hit.

Shenandoah Caverns Trip

Location was convenient to shopping and dining. Beautiful drive with the leaves changing colors. Lots of wildlife specially at night. Overall, excellent family weekend trip.

The interior space is definitely well dated but very clean and generally in good condition. Lots of space and a very quiet location. Beautiful scenic countryside all around. Can’t beat the price. Would stay again.

Lovely unique quiet peaceful and always clean, fully equipped property.We had 12 inches of snow, so beautiful. Enjoyed every moment. We shopped at the nearby Food Lion and cooked our meals seven out of ten days, our kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of great antique stores. We'll see you next year!

Comfortable, relaxing stay in Bryce

We had a comfortable, relaxing stay at Chalet High. Our townhouse unit was located on the golf course with a pleasant view. The unit decor is dated but the unit was clean. The full kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. The queen bed was comfortable. The twins in the second bedroom were just ok. The master bath has a shower and a hot tub. We did not use the community ammenties ie pool. This unit is about 1 mile from the ski slopes and the restaurant.

Chalet High was an amazing find. My wife and I used it as a central location to visit vineyards throughout the Shenandoah region. There are many wonderful vineyards in the area. It was nice to come back to a comfortable place rather than a hotel room. It was clean and well kept. Check in and out was extremely easy.

Local staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Only minor issue - we checked in after dark. Unit numbers were hard to see from the road. Maybe some reflective paint? Not a real ding and certainly not a problem during daylight hours. We'll be back!

Love these units, however it is almost impossible to find the unit numbers on the doors once it is dark out. The doors are dark green with black numbers- it is really odd that they wouldn't change the color since there are so many complaints and in order to see the numbers you have to pull into each section and shine ur headlights at each door since there aren't street lights. Also it was so freezing downstairs in the master bedroom but scorching hot in the upstairs bedroom. I guess it needs some updates but either way it is a nice vacation and very resourceful unit with everything you need for cooking, cleaning, etc.

*Bring your own groceries. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was easy for us to make all of our meals. Also, you may want to bring plenty of bottle water for drinking and cooking. The hot water heater hadn't been flushed in a long time (maybe never). The hot water had some sediment and smelled of Sulphur. *There are only a few restaurants within 5 miles (15-20 minutes) and none of them are much of anything. *The 3 floor unit only has one hvac unit. The ground floor and the upper floor were nice and warm. Downstairs was notably cooler. The email we received from the property prior to arrival suggested that they only supply a limited amount of blankets. We found that what they had available was plenty sufficient for January. *Lighting in the rental unit could be improved. *They have an electric heater fireplace in the living on the ground floor but it is enclosed and therefore provides no heat.

Good short stay

Nice little place. A little dated, but clean and neat. Take to heart that there is no comforters and the blankets provided are thin. The tv in our bedroom wouldn't move off of one channel no matter what we tried. That was annoying, but our stay was brief. Bed was comfortable, but hard. The jetted tub was great, but there isn't anything over the outtake and I got a toe and my back sucked up before I realized what it was. It hurt. A child could be hurt especially if they would explore the hole with their fingers. Please put lights near the trash. We went to turn around after putting in trash early morning in the dark and never saw the the culvert. Smashed our bumper and had to call a tow truck. Definitely couldn't see that it wasn't part of the driveway.

Only complaint would be the check in hours and communication. Other than that, great property. If you want food theres a bar close open till 10 with some good food. If not, bring your own food. No stores for 45 minutes
