The elephants at Tangkahan have a fantastic life. Patrollers and protectors of the jungle they have river baths and jungle treks daily. A beautiful site to see.
Bathing elephants at Tangkahan is unmissable. Not only do these gentle giants help raise money to protect the forest (tourists pay to help bathe them), they also do jungle patrol with the Rangers once a week!
Tangkahan is full of rivers, waterfalls, streams, hot springs and jungle trekking. A beautiful place to explore.
