Great value and a really comfortable night. Booked a family room and found it clean and with easy access to toilets and showers. Arrived very late but staff were on reception to welcome us. Breakfast options were good and the dining room is cheerful and clean. Would definitely stay again.

The property felt clean and safe. The grounds could use some TLC but after being a YMCA mender for 30 years, I understand the hardships that come with taking care of older buildings and grounds. Worth the money to stay here.

Super nice and friendly check in! Gave a great intro of the city Bath. Single room is clean and comfy. Kitchen has all I needed for cooking a meal. Super market is just 1-2 blocks away for everything

Good for 1 night

A basic but comfortable Hostel in the centre of Bath. Top floor Showers do not have hot water however pro tip is the 1st floor showers are electric so you can get your hot shower there. The 3 bed bunks are very uncomfortable - however it was good enough for 1 night stay in Bath.

Will work if you don't mind noise

We stayed in a private double room, it had a sink and was on ground floor - room was clean, shared showers were overflowing and tiny. Do not recommend if you a light sleeper and need quiet space - the room has practically no sound isolation (sounds from the hall carry into the room, and if you open the window (and you need to if you like fresh air) - everyone likes to sit outside just beside the window and it is especially noisy in the night. Staff is great, kitchen has a microwave and cutlery, so it is very convenient to buy food from Waitrose and eat at the YMCA. Location is great

Overall the time which I spent there was nice because of the very polite and helpful young gentlemans whose work on the reception.They dealed with any issues which I have what makes me feel comfortable. The one thing which wasn’t great was the room. But as I mentioned the stuff helps resolve this problem. I recommend that place for people who want to spend active time outside 😊

I am writing to request assistance regarding a refund issue for a recent booking. Upon arrival at our accommodation, we found the room to be in an unsatisfactory condition, as the floor had not been cleaned. After informing the hostel staff, they offered to change our room. However, the alternative room did not meet our needs, so we decided to remain in the original room, which I cleaned myself. The hostel staff were very supportive and offered a £15 refund for the inconvenience, which they processed and transferred to Expedia, as the booking was made through your platform. I would now like to request that this refund be credited to my original payment method.

This is my second time staying at Bath YMCA, the first time having a room to myself with an en suite bathroom. I like how the location is so convenient to everything in central Bath. The accommodations are comfortable and the staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it for the budget traveler, especially for long term stays. I was there for 12 days.
