Weekend break to visit Xmas market. Peter & Margarita made us feel very welcome and very helpful especially with the area and local attractions. Location of hotel was perfect for central Bath. View from our room was lovely as we could see the Abbey all lit up for Christmas. Only negative was the bed was a bit hard, maybe a mattress topper would make a difference. Breakfast was ideal, and Peter & Margarita would do anything for you. Fantastic weekend at the Elgin Villa, would highly recommend.
Quiet neighborhood fairly close to all the sites. Difficult to find room to put our bags (recommend 2 luggage racks). While staff was super and was very clean with nice yard, we would not say the property was 4 stars ( if you are judging by US standards)but we found this in several of our stays this trip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Elgin Villa. Peter and Margarita were very friendly and helpful hosts. The accommodation was very good as was the breakfast. The house is within easy walking distance of all Bath's main attractions.
Peter and his wife were extremely helpful. The location is perfect for the centre of Bath and with parking it really makes it very convenient.
Breakfast was exactly as described, room was very clean and warm.

Enjoyed our stay at Elgin Villa. It was easy to walk to the center of town. The city is beautiful. Our family room had enough room for our family of four and we loved visiting with Margarita and Peter each morning. We went during a small heat wave, and although there was no AC, they were very accommodating and helped us get fans and make our stay comfortable and made us feel welcome.
I had a great time while I was here. The couple that runs the B&B are very sweet. I had a headache, and they gave me their Paracetamol (Tylenol) for free.
Word of warning: there's no Wi-Fi. Since I was looking to disconnect completely on this trip, it wasn't a downside for me.
The room is clean and spacious. The owner couple are polite but straight and unfriendly. They refused to share Wi-Fi to occupants and even use of toilet after check out.
There are noise of cars from street at mid night.
Had such a warm welcome Nothing too much trouble Room was immaculate Made our stay so enjoyable and the scrambled eggs for breakfast were a 10 out of 10 Will definitely go back again
Paid £5 per day for onsite parking, short walk to the Crescent and into town. Great contact from friendly hosts, breakfast was good, small selection but perfectly adequate and tasty. On suite bedroom, which sleeps 3, toiletries provided, towels and hairdryer. We very much enjoyed our stay, and would book here again when next in Bath.
Margarita and Peter were very lovely and welcoming, they took the time to show us where the the local amenities were.
The place is very dated but we loved it, bed was comfortable, the room was very clean and tidy.
Margarita and Peter were very Kind and helpful at breakfast and on departure.
We will defiantly be going back
£5 to park in their private parking but a nights stay at the hilton is £17.50 so we didnt mind at all.
Thank you both
