Lovely older hotel in the heart of Bath. Rooms decroated in a traditional manner, ours had a 4 poster bed. Staff incredibley friendly and helpful. Parking an easy 5 minute walk away. Would stay there again.
The hotel has a great location. Walkable to all city center attractions.
Staff were friendly and efficient. Didn't use bar/restaurant but it looked inviting.
Would stay there again and would recommend the hotel to others.

We really liked the breakfasts good selection. Staff were really friendly. The lift did not work and in the room the fan did not work in the bathroom. Had lovely cleaner doing the room every day. Over all it was a nice stay.
It’s a very great location and the staff were great however due to the street construction in the area it was hard to find the hotel and parking was a bit of a challenge.
Amazing place to stay and a great value! Lots of character, wonderful breakfast, friendly staff and a very walkable location. They also had parking available which was a huge plus.
Nice quiet hotel near the station so quite handy. Lots to do within walkable distance. Staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Only downer was the elevator that was out of order.

The staff there were soooooo amazing! Unfortunately, it was so hot and there was no air conditioning so the windows needed to be open and then it was so loud due to the people outside.
I want to say again the staff were incredible!
The property is historic and is decorated accordingly. Breakfast was lovely. Please note, there are NO king beds in this hotel-even though Expedia sold me a room for one. Also, the lift or elevator NOT working- apparently for several weeks now. Inquire as to whether it’s been repaired if you have trouble with steps as there may be many. Lighting fixtures in room need updating. Most staff very nice, especially Tim. Tub in Room 201 is fantastic but door needs to be replaced- extremely difficult to open and damaged on inside. Being on back side of hotel v street side is preferred as there is construction on Manvers. Excellent location near train. Very walkable to stores and historical sites. Cheers!
Beds were very comfortable and the breakfast on site was absolutely delicious! Recommend adding it to your stay

Location was great, right across from the Bath station. Can walk to all the sites in Bath. The bathroom was very small, but I had booked a single room, other rooms may have larger bathrooms. There was an elevator, no A/C
Great location across the road from the station.
Right in town and great food at very reasonable prices as well.
Great staff and can’t wait to return again.
Lovely old English hotel. Great staff, very helpful and an excellent location. As far as English hotels go it was very nice and enjoyed our stay there. A very good breakfast clean room and comfortable bed.
Overall great stay and location was perfect! It took a while for the water in the shower to get hot, and the steam in the bathroom took a long time to dissipate. Air movement even with a window open was pretty stale, but the fan in the room helped. Very comfortable beds, and comfortable stay otherwise! Staff was fantastic, quick to help and answer questions!!

The room was clean, the staff was friendly, and the location right across the street from the train station can't be beat!
Perfect location just across from the rail station and close to retaurants and attractions. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was helpful and friendly. The hotel was built in the 1840s and you may need to run the tap for 2-3 minutes to get hot water for your shower.
