Beautiful and genuinely dog friendly hotel

The Bulkeley is such a lovely place to stay. Perfect location right on the sea with gorgeous views. The hotel was genuinely dog friendly and our dogs had a fantastic time. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We will be back for sure!

Lovely location the staff very friendly and couldn’t fault the service, the food was really good quality compared to other places we eat, so kept eating at the hotel. We stayed there for 6 nights and would definitely go back

Weekend get away.

Staff were very helpful. Our room was lovely with a great sea view. The bed very big and comfortable. The food is delicious and reasonable priced. Enjoyed our stay and will book again.

We found this hotel to be old and tired. The floor boards seriously creaked. It could do with a thorough make over . It is a beautiful area with sea and mountain views.

I booked this hotel for my Dads 80th for 4 days in 2 luxury rooms, these were fantastic for all of us and the views splendid over the mountains and menai straits. The hotel is within period and very fascinating in history, the staff very friendly and hospitable. The restaurant food was very good and we all had a relaxing time whilst staying. thank you

Pleasant stay lovely staff

Had a lovely 1 night stay at this historic hotel. The interiors are dated but that is part of the charm. The staff were so helpful and friendly, we had an upgrade on our room because hotels.com had overbooked and the staff were very good about it. The room and bed were comfortable, but the kettle was a bit rubbish and not convenient to use (it was connected to the plug which was behind the television) The breakfast was pretty average, not the best but you had enough options. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend if you need somewhere in the area.

We stayed for one night, it’s a beautiful Victorian building both inside & out but could do with a little update. The rooms were clean & comfortable but the back of the bathroom door & bath panel needed a repaint as paint was scratched & peeling off. Great choice of breakfast & cooked to order, car park is first come, first served but there is a large car park over the road so no issues there. Would stay there again & would try to get a sea view next time.
