Rocky gap State Park is located in Western Maryland, 2 hours drive from Baltimore. The fall colors have not peaked in this part of Maryland yet, but likely they will in the next one week. Room was excellent, lobby was impressive, breakfast was good. Very hard to find as road is narrow and well hidden, more signs needed to guide and leaving is the same issue.

It is an older hotel. Property and room was clean. Did have a musty smell when first entering. Placed on 1st floor room. Nearby guests had noisy dogs in their room.

The check in experience was great. Lovely staff. I'm in a rather expensive room at this property, and i have to say the furniture and bedding is kind of awful. You must invest in better cleaning and better bedding. It would do wonders for return guests...and the price point would be worth it. I promise. I'll come back, but this was not the best experience.
