Part of the Savage Gulf State Park, amazing overlooks provide breathtaking views of the gulf below. Several hiking trails are available, some requiring overnight camping. Perfect spot to stop for a picnic before heading below thru Stone Door. #roadtrip

The area is beautiful and a great waterfall close by. The disappointment in trying to fish was a let down . The lily pads were so grown up around banks of lake. That was one of the reasons to pick the spot where we could fish. The kayak was nice but my husband cant swim so not a good idea to send ...
