"True to its name -- really a cozy place - so comfortable and everything was accessible from the hotel. The staff were also very nice and accommodating. Thank you housekeeping for looking after our room. Two things that we're not really keen on - the WIFI didn't work - but didn't bother us so much as we had a mobile travel plan. "I have over thirty years of pleasant experiences with Hotel Lux Picpus. That came to a sudden end with this recent stay. The room we stayed in has a tiny shower so small you can’t bend to touch your toes. While I was showering the shower tray overflowed because the staff left a rubber plug in place that could not be seen. The water flooded the room completely with a centimeter of water over 90% of the floor! A large spider then appeared on my bed likely trying to escape the flood from under the...
