"It was a very nice experience. Would definitely go back."

"Our refrigerator/freezer leaked all over the floor and didn't keep our drinks cool. There were wet towels left in the sink in the wet bar and the bathroom had hairs on the floor. The pool had way too much chlorine in it and the hottub was dirty around the edges and smelled mildewy, Just not as good of an experience for the money and nothing like it used to be. there needs to be a full cleaning and update in the pool area as well as some of the amenities in the rooms, such as furniture and...

"The huge jetted tub in the room was amazing."

"What a pleasant surprise: A safe, well maintained hotel with an immaculate room and bathroom, Keurig coffee maker, clean microwave and 3.5 cu ft refrigerator, a nice included breakfast, responsive and professional staff and everything worked. And it was affordable. Lovely. If we return to Galena, we will stay there. Absolutely zero complaints."

"Hotel Galena is a quaint, quiet inn with a very friendly staff. The breakfast room offers a variety of items and wonderful coffee. Free parking is available, and EV parking is available for a slight fee. The rooms have plenty of space. The bed is very comfortable and cozy. This hotel is so close to many attraction sites and shopping venues. Five plus stars in my book!"

"The room was clean and it had a nice fireplace."

"We like the historic hotel vibe and its downtown location. An anchor like the Decker is vital for Main Street revitalization. We wished that the bar had been open on a Thursday evening, but the manager said the owner is working on leasing that operation. A lamp on both sides of the comfy bed would be most welcome."

"Had the hotel for 2 nights but since I took my luggage with me after the first night the staff checked me out of my room even though I never formally checked out or notified the front desk that I was leaving. Later on that evening when I returned, a couple was assigned my room and came in while I was in there. Afterwards, when night management clocked in, again my room was assigned to another couple, that came in again while I was in my room. Not the best hotel experience I've had."

"Thje staff from the woman who checked us in to the hostess at the breakfast were as welcoming and comforting as many of the B n B's we stay at."

"Claw foot bathtub was luxurious. Wine in the afternoon was lovely, and breakfast was amazing! Really nice property!!"

"Very helpful checkin staff and the bar/restaurant was right there. Easy in and easy out."

"Carol is very friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Room and bathroom were clean and bed was comfortable. The front porch and yard were kept nice and inviting. The seasonal Halloween decoration inside the property was outstanding. This was our first time staying in Bed N Breakfast facility so I'd compare with my experiences with Hotels. Though I've chosen their best and only room with balcony, I felt cramped in the room, there wasn't much space around the queen size bed. A 19 inch TV was...
