"Nice hotel with friendly staff in a great location for U of G. Have stayed several times and it’s always clean and consistent. Restaurant is good too. Only recommendation is adding a grab bar in the shower/tub as it can be slippery getting in and out, especially for older guests."

"Lovely place and surroundings. For a luxury stay a bit lacking to justify price. For example, free breakfast mostly pastries and fruit whereas other places you’ll get full breakfast choices.. eggs, bacon.. etc. our room AC didn’t work, so a new a upgraded room was offered but went from king to queen bed, but bigger room. Huge soaker tub which wouldn’t keep water, plug didn’t work. Price for stay should be more like 250-300/night."

"Expensive for a dumpy motel in Guelph. Linens seemed clean. Served the one night purpose as we were travelling through. Breakfast was very continental. They had boiled eggs though! They were good. Had to take food and coffee back to room as they only had a couple tables to sit at. Coffee was good."

"The staff are the best I've seen anywhere. They are genuinely motivated and care deeply that guests enjoy their stay. This is an historic property with the charm and quirks that come with something that's been around many years. There were many improvements being made to the property while we were there. The highlight was the breakfast, even on our third and final morning we were delighted with the quality and choice. The bar staff, food and cocktails were top notch. You'll leave the Breadalbane feeling well cared for."
