"The property has been renovated and it shows. Everything in the room and dining area was new or appeared new. The food was excellent at dinner time and so was the breakfast. But above all the staff, with its owner on top, was friendly, attentive and accommodating. Definitely recommend it!"

"We traveled to Fermiselle to trace my family roots as my great grandfather immigrated to Cuba from there in the 1920’s. To say that the manager was accommodating would be an understatement. "Nosotros nos alojamos un viernes y un sábado y resulta que hay una discoteca justo detrás de la casa, a la 1.30 de la madrugada nos despertamos con la vibración de la música y el ruido. Era horrible, no pudimos dormir hasta que cerraron a las 6.30 de la mañana, así las dos noches. Si lo que buscas es tranquilidad este no es tu sitio."

"Friendly exceptionally clean hotel with wonderful menu for dinner. Good wine list at friendly prices. The bed was a medical grade mattress which was a bit too firm for us. All in all a wonderful place to stay not far from Portugal Spanish border. Listing did not say that whilst it was off a listed road it was not now the main road so was quiet.Hotel refurbished a year or so ago and is popular with locals always a good sign "
