Its a nice hotel, close to location I was visiting. Staff was friendly. the only issues were mosquitos in the garden or dining area. They did their best to spray, etc but still got bitten a few times.

The Oberoi Bangalore is a wonderful hotel and a true oasis in the middle of a busy city. The property is surrounded by lush tropical gardens, which create a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly, professional, and attentive throughout our stay. We have to leave very early for Airport but the staffs was very helpful and the Mini breakfast was prepared at the Lobby. Our room was elegant, comfortable, and had a beautiful balcony overlooking the gardens. Waking up to greenery and birds in the middle of Bangalore was a lovely experience. One of the highlights of the hotel is the garden setting, which makes the property feel calm and private despite being located in the city. The Oberoi Bangalore is a perfect choice if you want a luxurious and relaxing stay while visiting Bangalore.

My family of 4 stayed in 2 rooms for a week during Christmas. The Oberoi Bangalore exceeded our (already high) expectations. Rooms and facilities were certainly top-notch, but what made our stay even more memorable was the extraordinary service of the staff and quality of the food. On Christmas day we unexpectedly needed an afternoon table for 8 on short notice, and though they were very busy and fully booked, they still managed to accommodate us perfectly. It was a challenging request (and we would have fully understood if they couldn't do it) but they came through for us! Their three restaurants are world-class. The buffet breakfast had many new items each day, and had an amazing separate menu in addition to the buffet. The restaurant manager Neeraj made it a point to recommend items which we would not have normally tried, and he was on-point with every suggestion (his recommendation of the benne dosa, a local dish, was particularly great)! On our final checkout day at breakfast, we were in a hurry and it just got too late for us to receive our last order for a ginger tea. We had to leave the restaurant but one the managers, Rana, actually caught up with us and gave us our ginger tea helpfully placed in a to-go container so we wouldn't have to miss it! Now that's service! Every member of staff, at all levels, were impeccable. They love what they do and it showed. We plan to holiday in India again next year, in no small part to stay at the Bangalore Oberoi again!
