Lovely hotel. Few issues with the bathroom toilet and vent system, but overall a good location, easy communication with team, app easy to download and navigate. Front door opens to anyone even though you are given a code to get in so thats an issue. Good cafe next door.

Simple, Elegant, Environmentally Focused

Loved this place, we stayed in a room with a kitchen and enjoyed having that space. They had grocery bags, water bottles, and other things to use during your stay. I honestly enjoyed the no front desk check in. We had a whatsapp chat that the service people we're extremely responsive in. TV was smart so could play spotify and netflix, large closet, and comfortable bed. Right next to all the nightlife very clean.

Great place to stay, with great customer service!

The apartment was perfect for our 4 day stay in berlins city centre, just a 5-10 minute walk to the S Bahn which had direct trains to the airport. There was also a U Bahn close by but we didnt use it, as we just walked around the city which is very flat. We loved the fact we could access the luggage room early on the day we arrived and also on the day we checked out, so we could explore ths city care free on our arrival and prior to our flight home. You just need your phone, Internet and access to the Bob W Guest area for codes and their slide open door function to enter your room and the luggage room. We found this feature brilliant once we'd figured it out! You get the guest access the day or day before your arrival and we received everything via whatsapp. The apartment had everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was lovely and warm. We were contacted regularly via whatsapp to ensure everything was excellent and if there was any way they could make our stay better. We received very quick replys. There was a cupboard in the luggage room to pick up extra supplies if we needed. Quiet area and we rarely heard other people in the building. We would definitely look at staying in another Bob W in the future!

Kitchen was well equipped. Good supplies. Good communication. We personally found the bed to be too hard, like sleeping on a block of concrete. But the hotel did it's best to provide us with extra bedding, etc. to cushion the bed.

Bed sheets were not only very used but also torn! Staff in the beakfast club were very unfriendly! Didnt even serve us They rather let us leave unserved Added to that parking in the surroundings were very expensive even though tax was paid for dirty Berlin! We chose Bob W because of our wonderful experience recently in May 2023 in Lübeck where the hotel was still called By Charley Everything including staff was so satisfying that we rated with 5 stars

Stylisches Hotel in guter Lage mit einigen Mängeln

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen, 5 Minuten zur U-Bahn und 15 min fußläufig zum Alexanderplatz. Es befindet sich in einem schönen Berliner Altbau, stilvoll renoviert und obwohl das Zimmer zur Straße lag, war der Straßenlärm (in diesem ruhigen Viertel) erträglich. Das Hotel hat keine Rezeption, Check-in und Kommunikation werden per WhatsApp abgehandelt, die Türen öffnen sich schlüssel-los per Code bzw. per Smartphone. Das Zimmer selbst war durchschnittlich groß, das Bad war winzig. Die Renovierung des Hotels war wohl schon einige Jahre her, das Zimmer und das Bad bräuchte durchaus etwas neue Farbe. Die Sauberkeit ließ leider zu wünschen übrig (Boden verkrümelt, Waschbecken mit Haaren verstopft). Das Frühstück kann separat zu-gebucht werden. Allerdings bekommt man für die berechneten 12€ kein Frühstück, sondern einen Verzehrgutschein über diese 12€ in 2 möglichen Cafes in der unmittelbaren Nähe. Das Buchen des Frühstücks hat damit also keine Vorteile. Das Frühstück im "Suppengrün" ist aber wirklich sehr gut und empfehlenswert Im Anbetracht der beschriebenen Mängel ist der Zimmerpreis m.E. unverhältnismäßig hoch.

Die Lage ist für Berlin perfekt. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet, hatte einen kleinen Kühlschrank & das Bett war komfortabel. Das Café nebenan ist sehr schön, die Mitarbeiter:innern super freundlich & hilfsbereit; Essen als auch Getränke sehr lecker.

Einzelzimmer sehr klein, als Fluchtweg für die Etage ausgeschildert, zum Innenhof hin mit Feuertreppe und bereits vor 07:00 Uhr sehr lauter Baustelle. Kaum Service, zwar das Bett gemacht, aber weder Teebeutel noch Kaffeekapseln aufgefüllt, keine Getränke, Minibar ausgeschaltet, Müllbeutel vergessen. Keinerlei Personal im Hause, nur Reinigungspersonal am Morgen. Keine Begrüßung, weder persönliches Checkin noch Checkout. Ohne funktionierendes Handy keine Möglichkeit ins Zimmer zu kommen. Für Alleinreisende etwas unheimlich.
