One should not underestimate the Hotel by its tired looks. It is ideally situated direct at the Railway Station Wannsee, which connects the South of Berlin with the rest of the country.
The reception on 1st floor is friendly and usually even more often present than announced on the door. No lift, no helping hand, luggage can be an issue, especially as there is hardly any parking in front of hotel.

The absolute plus is the Italian Restaurant inside the Hotel, which offers fantastic food and saves you any trip anywhere else. And if Italian is not your scene, just 400m down the road is Loretta, a traditional German Restaurant, Bar and Beer Garden.
