This place located nearby Alexander Platz roughly from 1km apart which was great. Hotel and rooms were tidy and well maintained. Customer service was ok.

Short trip

Hotel was just what was needed for short stay. Bed comfortable and location was great for walking or use of public transport. Room was small and some of the plugs did not work. It was very cold outside but very warm inside and we had to open a window as air con would not work and the street was very loud. We did not complain or ask for a move. You stay again.

Excellent, but heating needs to work

Excellent location, clean room, as always with Ibis, you know what to expect. However, the room was so cold. The heating didn't work. This was reported, but didn't change. Perhaps, this is a policy of extreme spareness. Which is a bit disappointing, you dont xpct to freeze at night.

The hotel is clean, comfortable and well maintained. However there is an issue with the regulation of water temperature when you shower, showers don’t appear to have a thermostat and therefore the temperature fluctuates between boiling hot, to freezing cold a number of times whilst taking a 5 min shower. I tolerated this for 5 days in different rooms. I moved to a different room, as I was put in a street facing adjoining room. Adjoining rooms are EXTREMELY noisy. It doesn’t matter if you booked months prior and requested a quiet room, it’s allocated on the day, so the earlier you check in the more options you might have. I found all but one receptionist polite and helpful, one of the receptionists was consistently cold, abrupt and unhelpful, borderline rude. Also the breakfast is something like 17 euros per day, which is expensive. There are a lot of nice cafes in the area, I get why people run to the petrol station out front for food now!

Expidia Reiseplannummer 73238658247284 Bis auf die Rezeption war alles OK. Wir hatte 3 Einzelzimmer gebucht und bei Ankunft hat man uns mitgeteilt das 1 Zimmer storniert wurde was aber von uns nicht veranlasst wurde. Eine Nachbuchung efolgte nur mit großen Schwierigkeiten weil die Bedienung der Rezeption nicht mit der Software vertraut war. Gleiches war bei der Abreise. Auch diese Person war mit der Software nicht vertraut und konnte mir keine Rechnung ausdrucken b.z.w. hat mir Rechnungen ausgedruckt zunächst von einer anderen Person dann noch falsche Rechnungen mit falschen Rechnungsbeträgen. Der Kundenbeleg der Mastercard weist einen Betrag von 509,91€ aus. Zu diesen Betrag war die Rezeption nicht in der Lage mir eine Rechnung auszudrucken. Bitte unbedingt Rückruf auf 05777446

This was a OK hotel with a view of Berlin. The location was good and the room was comfortable. There was a handy convenience store near the lobby where you could buy snacks and things. It is a 15 minute walk to the main square and if you walk the other direction, there are a number of restaurants to visit

The room is small but fine for one person, superclean, and modern. The bathroom is small but not too small. The location is great. It's probably not in Prenzlauer, which seems to be across the street. The restaurants on Kollwitzstrass are a short walk, the ones on Kastanienallee are a bit of a hike. Alexanderplatz is on a tram line, so the hotel is easy to get too.
