Wurthmann House Unit #1 Your Home Away From Home

The charming building has a rich history with origins dating back to as early as the mid-1800s. The original structure burnt down and was rebuilt in 1918, but it is believed that parts of the early foundation still remain. It has operated as numerous businesses and has seen a handful of owners throughout its life. This newly-restored two bedroom suite upstairs features chestnut window and floor trim, hardwood floors, locally-made Amish furniture, and beautiful views of historic downtown Berlin.

Beautiful and great location

This is our 4th year staying for a long weekend with friends. The location is right in the center of town, where most shops are in walking distance. It is very clean and comfortable.

Precious Home away from Home

This apartment was absolutely precious!! My only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer this trip!! We’ll definitely be back and can’t wait to stay here again! Perfect Stay in Amish Country

We loved this place! It’s truly a home away from home, somewhere where you can relax with plenty of space right in the heart of Amish country. The location couldn’t be better. This spot is charming, convenient, and thoughtful. Easy communication with the owners and easy entry. Assigned parking is about a fifty foot walk to the door. We will definitely be back!

Great location to the Boyd right next door. Nice to be able to walk to your place when shopping downtown Berlin. Great time and fun place to stay.

Sisters from a Different Fellow

I and my two best girlfriends traveled to Berlin for a short stay that made a lasting memory. My ladies were visiting for the first time and.we.stayed at Wurthman House for the first but not the last time. We had a 3 hour plus drive that we filled with chats and laughter. Traveling to our destination on the back roads on 36 was filled with beautiful scenery and small town travel in the slow lane. Our group thanks you for providing our "home away from home"!
