"Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Szlakami 5 Dolin. The view is beautiful. The apartment was perfect. We arrived late so there wasn’t anyone at the reception but we received all the info before we arrived and had a smooth check in. We tried the Sauna one evening and it was good. "Lovely place in the summer, probably just a good in the winter. A small resort. Open air pool, sauna and plunge pool plus lot for younger kids to do. Fire pits for communal barbeques, great for meeting others. You need a car to go to various mountain areas. Don't judge by the profile picture. They really need to update it."

"Great Location! The hotel is located walking distance from the train station. When you get off the train, it's a short walk straight up the hill. You will need to know this because the locals will probably not want to help you with directions. The lady that greeted us at the front desk was very friendly and helpful! She was accommodating and nice. The pool and hot tub were wonderful after a day of hiking. The lady working the spa was unfriendly, but that's to be expected from many of the locals. The rooms were nice but very dated. If you go when the weather is cooler, you will be fine, but it is good to know for the warmer months, there is no air condition in the rooms. If you sleep with the window opened, there are cars and street noise. They did bring us a fan, but when the temperature rises to the 80s... you may want a room with AC. The shower was tiny. My husband took a shower in the locker room at the pool and it had plenty of room. It's a wonderful place to stay, just be aware of the AC situation. Also, The Brooklyn Brewery next door is an excellent place to eat! The food is wonderful and you get huge portions. The staff was also friendly."

"An excellent hotel, we were sad that we weren't staying longer and plan to return. The hotel itself is beautiful, with historical pictures of Zakopane adding to the charm. Everywhere is spotlessly clean and furnished to a high standard. All members of staff we encountered on reception and in the restaurant were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good, with local specialities. The restaurant's menu features local dishes too and does have vegetarian options, which had otherwise been more difficult to find in Zakopane than in other parts of Poland. The location is great with trees and a lovely lawn, just a short walk through a pretty park to the centre of Zakopane."
