"We did not like the shower and sink on the 2nd floor of our hotel room. If you used the toilet you had to go upstairs to wash your hands. Room was tight!!! But so beautiful!! Bed was hard. Perfect location!"

"The room was clean with nice decor as was Reception. In Reception there was a water machine and a tea/coffee machine which was great. The hotel was central in the town - great location. Lots of shops and beautiful buildings. It was about half an hour walk to the main station (went to Bruges for the day from here) we enjoyed the walk as crossed many canals, but you could take a bus/tram to the station. Would definitely stay here again."

"An excellent hotel. The staff were unfailingly helpful, the facilities excellent and all areas of the place sparkling clean. The room and bathroom were well designed, not large but there was adequate space. The room looked out onto a fairly busy road but there must have been superb soundproofing because the traffic noise was barely a murmur in the room."

"Boutique hotel with personality. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great. Small staff but they always did more than expected to help. Only drawback is there isn’t an elevator and we had big heavy luggage to maneuver upstairs and through narrow halls. Perfect location to city center. I would recommend."

"The room was clean and modern, comfortable bed and bedding. The main door to the building needed some repair. It was strange to check-in at one location then go to several buildings over to get to our room. The hotel was very accomodating, the lobby held our bags before and afterwards when arriving and departure times were early and delayed, respectively. The room had a clothes iron and ironing board which was appreciated. Travelling makes clothes wrinkled, so an iron was useful and this was the only hotel which had one in the room. The breakfast was very good. The location was great, so close, within walking distance to key historic sites, the canal, restaurants and cafes. Only suggestion: It would have been nice to have an actual coffee machine and not just hot water and instant coffee in the room."
