"The staff at The Columns are extremely nice and helpful. The included breakfast has many nice options and is well-prepared. We had both a double room on the first floor and a balcony room on second floor in our party, and we much preferred the first floor. It’s more spacious, better laid out, and has high ceilings. The second floor is not great for tall people because there are so many low ceilings, and the rooms feel cramped. "
"We spent 2 nights at the resort, and it truly felt like “home away from home”. All staff are wonderful and had been super helpful. We felt warm and welcomed throughout our stay. "The place was absolutely beautiful. Clean and classy....the family who ran the place were amazing as well. You are literally blocks from the beach, the market, the food stores.....pretty much anything you can do and want to do is walkable."

All the staff is great, from the manager to receptionists to cleaners; very welcoming, smiling, kind.
Linen / towels have a hint of chemical smell, had to buy my own towel because couldn't stand it. Not sure if it's the washing products, fabric softener or something the cleaners spray.
There's dogs barking all night in one side of the building, had to change room and then it was all good
Aircon was smelly. Needs to be cleaned more...

"Beautiful hotel off the beaten path but not too far from town. Loved the private feeling from taking a boat ride from the very nice private pier to the hotel. "Our stay was great : the hotel itself has a nice setup with different pools and an access to the river. The common space are big, in the shades most of the time and well maintained. The food was unexpectedly great, like really really good. The room was good, with everything needed to have a good night. Would definitely stay again !"
