"We loved our stay! The hosts were very gracious, accommodating, and responsive. The cottage was perfect. Clean and airy, with cozy decor that allowed us to immerse ourselves in the nature of our surroundings. The cottage was also in a great location, nestled in a quiet lakeside neighborhood with a 5 minute walk to a crystal clear lake. The lake itself is small, but that made it feel almost private and it was so clean! We even had the opportunity to use a Kayak for the first time as a family, with one was provided as an amenity. Lasting memories were made, and I couldn’t have asked for a more ideal location. Thanks for hosting us!"

"We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house! The home was exceptionally clean, well-kept, comfortable, and beautiful, and everything was easy from beginning to end. The price was very reasonable for everything that was included. The lake itself was absolutely beautiful, surrounded by nature and wildlife, and offered excellent fishing, swimming, kayaking, and plenty of opportunities for recreation.The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable and convenient. They generously provided fishing poles, kayaks, and swimming equipment, which were such thoughtful extras and made it easy for our family to enjoy everything the lake had to offer.We truly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this lake house to anyone looking for a peaceful, beautiful, and fun getaway. We would definitely love to come back! "

"The thing that stood out to me, the most, were the amazingly friendly people that were there. One person who lives there year-round, loaned us two fishing rods and some bait. He also took us out on his pontoon boat. We enjoyed our stay very much. Hopefully, we'll see you next year."

"Property could use some serious updating. The settee on the porch did not invite anyone to sit on it. The portable air conditioner stopped working the second day during a heat wave. To be fair the property contact got on it right away and had a neighbor come over to help fix the issue. Interestingly, there was a brochure for a winder Air conditioner but none in place.The unit is really not adequate for the hot weather that we had for the week. Also, the lower level is quite damp and would really benefit from a dehumidifier or two.The property mentions walking to Gray Lake but there is no close lake access nearby and no directions to the public access."

"My family and I loved our time at Black Bear, and we hated to leave! The lake was warm. The sunrises and sunsets were beautiful. The pool was wonderful and larger than I expected. We had everything we needed and more. Even the neighbors were friendly. Connie responded quickly to any questions we had. The surprise gift delivery was such a nice touch. We had a little issue with the spa, and Connie was quick to make things right. Thank you so much Connie!"
