"The hotel is very clean and close to pier. Very walkable, walking trail close. Dog friendly hotel, provide dog beds and bowls upon request. Staff pleasant. They provide baked dog treats, very nice touch. The room is small, overpriced albeit the area is beautiful. Local restaurants and cafes with some allowing dogs, but quite expensive. Most coffees about $10-13 for 12 oz and fast food $15-20 per person. Stayed 3 nights with 4 adults and two large dogs. They provide self parking, charge $25 daily and $50 daily fee for each dog. Dog relief area convenient for early morning potty. It was a wonderful experience. Maybe stay again just due to expensive stay."

"It's a rustic cabin that's pretty quiet. There's no Wi-Fi or tv so if you want to unplug for a while it suits that purpose. The lodge was nice and good hikes around the area"

"I liked rhe room, however, there were no USB charging plugs for electronic devices. An easy solution would be to exchange lamps for ones that include USB outlets. Next time I go to Carmel I will request a room on the 5th floor."
