Staff were really helpful to me - wifi was not that strong in my room so they moved me rooms with no fuss - around the hotel staff were really friendly. Gym and pool good was happy for a solo business trip and room was clean!
Disgusting hotel. Dirty, bathroom stained, bed ripped. Mattress was old and well used. Rates 4 star but not even close to 4 star

Hotel quite dated throughout, room was a good size and comfortable bed. Cleanliness not up to standard, hairs spotted in bathroom and on towels. Marks on duvet covet. Bathroom could do with a upgrade as looked quite worn. Breakfast was okay, although food was cold. For the price, not worth the stay. Hotel room was very hot and would have expected a fridge for the price. Overall would not recommend or stay again.

The room was clean and tidy .
I was very unhappy with our experience in the spa pool .
Ladies changing facilities dirty with bins overflowing
Men’s shower had razor on floor which my husband caught with his foot
Tons we couldn’t swim as too busy but the 4 youths pushed passed us went through the gym and entered the pool that way . When we informed reception. She said she would call someone but no one came
I would not book this hotel again if the pool was required

Clean large room with comfy bed and bedding. Good tea and Coffee facilities, exceptional shower - this was very welcome. The Spa was great, had a lovely Elemis Facial/ Sadly the food was not great, the Belly Pork and mustard mash for my evening meal was very very dry, tough and very chewy. The restaurant area looks like it might be having a upgrade, perhaps better to try once upgraded. Breakfast was served in the room and was very good, although I did receive the incorrect cereal, but did not complain as was in a rush. I would definitely stay there again, but probably on a bed & breakfast basis rather than half board.

1 bath towel, 1 hand towel, 1 small bottle of water and 1 biscuit between 2 people. You cannot use the facilities on the day of checkin until after 3pm unless you pay extra.
Prices have increased yet you get less for your money.
We stayed one night in an executive room. The room was spacious, clean and had a coffee machine. The decor was modern and the bathroom was very stylish too.
The bed was a bit firm and the doors in the corridor could be a bit quieter.
There was plenty of parking and the breakfast was good too. Staff were very nice and friendly.

The pool and hot tub were always full couldn’t go in as to many people there are no shops around the area and none in the hotel not even a vending machine the food if pricey with my meal I got 1 chicken breast 3 wedges and a little bit of coleslaw deffo not worth what you pay but you have to have food there as there’s no shops or any restaurants near by it’s out the way and quiet but it’s definitely not for us

Having stayed here some 8/10 years ago I was really looking forward to my return visit. Whilst it’s still a nice hotel, it’s starting to look very tired. Food choice was average, food was average! Room was nice (ish) clean and the best shower pressure know to man. Nice hotel but not uprooting any trees!
Only stayed one night. Room was comfortable and clean. We had a drink in the bar which had a nice seating area. No complaints. Good value for money.

A good location just off the M42 and M6 Toll. Lots of parking and easy access. Friendly welcome for a non-golfer.The hotel is well-equipped as a golf hotel. Biscuits in the room and toileteries provided. The rooms could do with a refresh and some maintenance but great value for a stopover.
Room was in a reasonable condition however there appeared to be dust on the wall and what looked like a blood stain on the side of the one bedframe which let it down. Staff where approachable but when asked for for milk for the room sent me to the bar and then back to the reception.
Was looking forward to staying here but left massively underwhelmed. Average but dated rooms, generally clean (apart from shower area that had soap scum/mould) but poorly maintained. Two lamps and a ceiling fan that didn't work - why not just remove them? Also wanted to order room service but was told I had to walk down and order/pay - frustrating after a long work day. Then get downstairs and told I need to pay a tray charge of £6 to have it brought up even though I had to come down 🙄 then got back to the room and opened the pizza and it was burnt and not nice. A real shame as it has great potential. I won't be returning.
Clean, welcoming. Comfortable bed and a great breakfast

Great location for our needs, our room was pleasant with AC working on one of the hottest days, our other room it didn’t work and it seems there are not many rooms with AC, the upgraded rooms and suites actually don’t have AC at all.
Staff friendly and good parking for the cars

The room and front of house staff were faultless. Facilities (pool) and the room just what we were looking for.
However really wish we hadn't eaten in the restaurant. We waited an hour for our food. With a very hungry 8 year old, which was far from ideal to be honest. We sat down at 6.45pm and food arrived at 7.45pm!
The breakfast was lovely, and lots of choice. From yoghurt to fruit, cooked breakfast to pastries.
Overall lovely stay just not very impressed with the restaurant wait times, could definitely be improved.
