Once I booked with Hotels.com I received a separate email saying I had to pay a £100 deposit which wasn’t stated anywhere, then had to download an app to get the key to the room. The room was clean and tidy but there was broken glass on the floor of which I cut my foot, not great! The Tv didn’t work so I couldn’t watch anything. After my stay I didn’t receive my deposit back until I had to email the company to request it back. When I received my deposit I received £91 back with no explanation as to where £9 has gone? For a one night stay it was more headache then it’s worth. Either explain the process before booking or make the process easier.
