Only closets for hanging clothes was locked or filled with cleaning tools and supplies Shower and toilet are on the first level. Stairs to the loft are narrow and slippery, very dangerous Concierge office is not open, I use Expedia when traveling because I do not like surprises, This booking was full of unpleasant surprises. Very disappointed. When we arrived, we were lucky to find a kind waiter in an adjoining restaurant who spoke English and contacted the caretaker who works from home. Although the caretaker seemed surprised that we were there, he did do his best to accommodate. Suggestion to the owners: If you are going to offer the apartment on an international platform such as Expedia, communications should be in multiple languages in addition to French, particularly Spanish, and English. "The best part of our stay was Elena, her communication was great, always at the end of the phone to answer my queries. Shower was lovely. The rest of the property was a bit run down, door handle on to balcony (which didn't have any furniture as per the pictures) kept coming off. Double bed was very very creaky. Kitchen not very well equipped, no kettle. But saying all that it served the purpose for us 🙂. X "

"Duplex room was nice, lounge and small bathroom with shower on lower level, large rooms upstairs with more beds and full bath. Upper room had wall dividing two spaces but no door. No AC but skylights provided good air. No in room coffee or tea"

"We were just looking for somewhere to stay overnight on our way down to Spain. It would have been nice to possibility stay a few more nights in this lovely old house in the village of Bedous. If you are looking for something individual and quirky this is the place. The lovely old furnishings in the house fitted beautifully with the age of the house. The owner was lovely and helpful. Breakfast was included and very nice. "
