"We stayed here for 2 nights andcwere very impressed with the size and comfort of the rooms. Breakfast was reasonable and plentiful. We atebin he bar on one night and the quality of the food and the service were both excellent. The pool and spa area was an added little bonus!"

"We really enjoyed our stay in Muine Bheag and Eoin was very responsive to provide us with some more utensils for the kitchen when needed. We also enjoyed discussing hurling with him and even attended the Kilkenny-Wexford match! This is such a nice little town with great places to shop and eat; we highly recommend staying here."

"An excellent stay. The Pembroke Hotel is a lovely hotel offering very good value for money. Fantastic, central location. The vast majority of the staff are excellent, if I was being picky I think the bar staff could either do with a more experienced manager, or more training. We intended to have dinner in the restaurant last night and despite being given menus, the staff didn’t think to tell us that the kitchen closed at 8pm - we missed dinner which was disappointing! We were sat there having a glass of wine, intending to order when we were ready. The rooms are big, well equipped and very comfortable. I would like to have had an extra aid to get out of the shower which is over a bath. I had to hold on to the towel rail for safety - I don’t think it is intended for that purpose. We would definitely return to The Pembroke."

"Cannot fault this lovely hotel. Just wanted to comment, to be patient with food order. We arrived at 7.30pm, staff where clearly busy, there was also a wedding in the venue. We where not served our starters until 9pm and deserts till after 10pm with a young family this was obviously not ideal. I must comment all food (apart from veggie option) was very good."

"An acceptable place for an overnight stay. An old and warn hotel but clean and staff are nice. Didn't eat breakfast but did have dinner there. It was very average"

"Staff were very helpful, our room was clean, the double bed however had broken springs right across the bed the problem was reported and the mattress was turned which was slightly better. Our stay was really lovely."
