Les Petit Maison Walkable to Downtown Black Mtn

"Les Petit Maison on Vance" translates to "the little house," but it is BIG on charm! Recently renovated and ready for you to fall in love! Less than 1 mile from Downtown Black Mountain, walk to locally owned restaurants, quaint shops, and fun, laidback breweries. Enjoy front porch swinging in the morning with a cup of coffee or relaxing in the hammock after a day of hiking and exploring. No fire pit is complete without s'mores, so look forward to making yourself at home at Les Petit Maison!

We have two comfy bedrooms, the primary has a king bed and ensuite bathroom with two sinks - please note the 2nd sink is the process of repairs and is not working at this time. The second bedroom has a Queen bed. There is second bathroom with a shower. Our third bed is a Murphy bed in the living room. The Kitchen has everything you need for cooking and we have a propane grill on the back porch for you to use as well.

Please Note: The driveway is a shared driveway with the neighboring house. If you need to park on the side of the road, you may do so but please do not park on the sidewalk.

Sweet Little Place

This house is perfect for a week in the mountains! The only issue we encountered was an accidental water shut off by the city, but the hosts worked with us to navigate the issue and it was corrected fairly quickly! We look forward to booking this house again!

Adorable Home

Adorable home. Close to everything! Well stocked Kitchen, Beautiful living spaces, and great front porch. Even though our stay was short this home was cozy and great place to stay!

Fun in the Mountains

The place was walking distance to cute town… restaurants, bars and shops and golfing, hiking and lake! House had nice finishes. The owner made the most out of the “petite” space.

Within walking distance to downtown!

Our party of 5 enjoyed this beautiful home in Black Mtn. Every amenity was provided and check-in/check-out was seamless. Situated in an older area of Black Mtn within walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants and all the quaint shops in town. Don’t be put off by the “locals only” type neighborhood, we had no issues with any of the neighbors. Great stay!

Great weekend in Black Mountain

We really enjoyed our stay at Le Petit Maison! The proximity of this property to the heart of downtown Blk Mtn was a highlight. We walked everywhere! The house is very clean and charming, exactly as pictured in the listing photos. The beds were also very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.

Long weekend at Black mountain

La Petit Masion is a lovely space - small but well appointed and the available space is laid out well so it feels larger. A quick walk of a few blocks takes you right into the Black mountain retail center (great shops and restaurants there), and you're a short drive from Asheville and all it offers.

Super cute retreat walking distance from shops

My husband, 7yo son and I had a great time during our stay in BM at this sweet little house. We were able to walk to all the shops and restaurants easily and the house itself was just as shown in the photos - clean, cozy, and well-appointed. As others have mentioned, the surrounding properties were not as well-kept, which was a little off-putting at first. But we never had any security issues and the location mostly made up for that. It was a lovely place to stay for a small family or couple looking to be close to town.

Perfect for our family

Where to start… Great communication with property managers, they made everything easy. Cute home. It’s definitely petite but had everything we needed. Kids loved playing in front yard. (Back yard is huge by the way). Neighbors were friendly. Easy walk to town. We come to BM just about every year, and this was perfect for our short stay.

The location is really perfect and the house is super cute. We had a couple of questions and received quick responses while we were there. I have just noticed we did not receive our security deposit back and I cannot imagine what damage we would have done to the property but as long as that gets resolved, would highly recommend this as a place to stay!

Clean, well stocked. Convenient to downtown. Neighborhood is a bit in transition. Only issue was the TV. I couldn’t watch the football games - no cable or broadcast tv; streaming only.

Cute little place

Cute place for a quick getaway. Driveway is a bit tight, but always brightened by the bunny that was there every morning and afternoon to greet us. A walkway from the driveway to front walkway would be helpful to not get feet wet wearing sandals on mornings when leaving. Appliances, dishes, toiletries, towels, etc were nice quality and quantity. The lack of upkeep of the neighbors is a negative, but they were quiet. The view of the mountain from the front porch was beautiful.

House was ok but neighborhood not so much.

You could use stair rails going up to front porch. The heater in the master bath has a motor problem that sound like it was going to fall out of the ceiling, both bathrooms were cold. 24 degs a couple of nights and the heat never cut off and stayed cold in the living room.

Great getaway

Cozy, warm home with awesome decor. Close to fantastic restaurants and easy access to I 40. Need to change those interior shower curtains (mold). Other than that we’ll be back!

Quick get away

My husband and I traveled to Black Mountain for a quick getaway. We stayed at this location and found it convenient. The neighborhood is somewhat run down along the edge of town. The parking is very difficult. Although there is a place right in front of this house, there was a car that is present (that appears to have been hit along the drivers side) and it never moved from the spot. We were forced to use the "grass driveway" which is very seep, narrow and overgrown with bushes. Difficult to get into and out of the property.
