Everything about our stay was perfect. Our host Shirley was amazing and made us immediately feel at home. The cottage is beautiful and sits on lovely grounds surrounded by an amazing garden. The location is walking distance to a quaint town and provides easy on -off access to the highway making it convenient to access all attractions and downtown Asheville.

Black Mountain Gem

We were visiting Black Mountain to check on progress at our construction site. We have visited a variety of properties throughout our many visits. This property was extra special in that the cottage is located in the gardens behind the owner's primary residence. The pathway to the cottage and the garden in the backyard are magical and filled with many varieties of hostas, japanese maple, etc. The porch is lovely and the interior of the home was comfortable, clean, and well-decorated. The kitchen was equipped perfectly for our brief stay. We will definitely be returning to this property in the months ahead!

Spectacular stay in Black Mtn

What a wonderful trip, with fantastic accommodations in the lovely little cottage out back. Shirley is a gracious host, along with little Sugar, who is such a sweet pup. Romantic Cottage

Enjoyed celebrating our 39th anniversary at the beautiful Cottage. Very lovely and comfortable. We did some shopping and ate in Black Mountain, and sat on the porch and enjoyed the garden lights. Thanks have a lovely stay.

Quaint little garden cottage

This little cottage is the perfect little place for a romantic getaway. Easily walkable to downtown Black Mountain, the chic decor and updated amenities kept us warm and comfortable, even in the frosty month of December. The outdoor garden area provides a tranquil space, even in dormant winter times. With the dedicated off street parking, beautiful interior, gracious hostess, and proximity to town, this is a true 10/10.

Delightful cozy cottage!

We were able to hike within 10 minute drive, walk into town for meals, coffee, etc. We had a cozy cottage with plenty of room for the two of us. Everything worked well, and Shirley greeted us when we arrived. We loved it!

An enchanting cottage

It was just lovely! The garden and the house were just enchanting! Not only was it beautiful, it was convenient and had all that we needed to make our stay comfortable. Beautiful cottage

My wife and I visited Black Mountain for a mid-week getaway. The mountain vistas and the quaint town filled with outstanding restaurants were just what we expected. But, this cottage was an unexpected surprise. This cozy, beautifully decorated cottage and its wonderful garden, was the highlight of our trip. We had the best time relaxing in the garden enjoying the beautiful flowers, song birds, and fire flies. Can’t wait to do it again.

Fabulous cottage

We loved the cottage and the lovely garden in front of our private abode. We ate on the porch every day with a sweet rose tablecloth and a handcut real rose in a vase. It was just a sweet stay and will definitely go back!

Anniversary Trip

Cute Cottage for a Friends Getaway

This was the cutest little cottage perfect for a friends/girls/moms night away for my long time best friend and I to reconnect. Located walking distance to downtown. One thing for awareness is there is one parking place but there is free parking lot availability nearby.

Lovely mountain oasis

This property was as charming and welcoming as described. What is hard to put into words is the wonder of Shirley's garden, swing, water feature, and birdsongs!
