Woodside Farmhouse is the perfect space for a family or group of six. In an idyllic rural location, set up a farm track this delightful cottage is located just a few miles outside the town of Blairgowrie. Take a dip in the hot tub, enjoy the panoramic views from the front garden over the farmland and just switch off and relax from the hustle of working life. Inside there is plenty of space to spread out, with a comfortable living space for adults and children and a good size kitchen/dining room with all modern facilities. The bedrooms have super comfy beds and a sense of calm and the family bathroom with shower as well as another separate completes the property.

Whether you want to walk, ski, fish, cycle, shop or simply relax, it’s all on offer in the surrounding area of beautiful Perthshire. Blairgowrie known for its soft fruit production, in particular raspberries, and is a popular town with golfers and anglers; the River Ericht flows through and Rosemount Golf Club is one of the most highly regarded in the UK. It is also the main start point for the 60-mile circular Cateran Trail that walkers can follow around the historic drove roads used by cattle rustlers.

Further north there is a quick and easy access to Royal Deeside and the Scottish Highlands beyond. Ideally placed for day trips to many of Scotland’s favourite attractions within Angus, Perthshire, Fife and beyond, all four of Scotland’s major cities; Edinburgh, Glasgow, Dundee and Aberdeen are all within easy reach, as are the Highland Perthshire towns of Pitlochry, Dunkeld and Aberfeldy.

This will be at an additional cost of £10 per day paid direct to the host in advance of your stay. Woodside has 13 Amp plug sockets and guests will need to bring their own adaptors and leads if required.

There were 5 of us, adults, and the cottage was the perfect place for a relaxed weekend, very spacious. We had an amazing time here, the cottage was very clean and well equipped with everything you need. The welcome pack was such a nice touch. Gill is so helpful and lovely to talk with. The views and peaceful location make the stay even better. We will definitely be booking here again!
