Lovely hotel with nice pool / spa facilities . Breakfast was great and rooms very comfortable. We had a lovely meal in the hotel . The Cullen skink was really nice . Reception staff were a little unfriendly on arrival but we wouldn’t let this put us off returning . Great value for money !

Excellent location in the centre of Blairgowrie. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. Hotel looking quite tatty throughout with areas that could be better maintained. Basic hotel rooms but did the job. Horrendous pillows though, solid pancakes!!! Wonderful massage in the spa.

Perfectly good hotel! The two receptionists the day i arrived were fabulous - helpful and friendly! I have noticed as Im in my 80’s that Im becoming invisible but not with these two! Great asset to the hotel!

Great hotel, very central location. Lots of parking available and staff very friendly and helpful pointing out the free car park rather than the one thats cost money. Never ate here this time but the food looked and smelt lovely. Very clean room with everything you need for a short break. Beds super comfy.

This is an average 3 star hotel although the pool area puts it up a notch. The pool area is very nice. The hotel itself is an old building so limited in what they can do. Our room was fine with a nice comfy bed. However the shower was terrible. Took ages for the hot water and when it did come through it was just a trickle. Our room was also not cleaned on our second day. Plenty choice at breakfast but not the hottest. Food in the restaurant was fine except the steak which was tough and tasteless. They did however cater to our gluten free friend quite well. Drunks on the expensive side.

Lovely hotel. Pool needs a bit of updating. Great food, n8ce rooms. Don't use hotel car park. Park across the road for free! We had to pay £10 @ day before realising the car park across the road was free for 72 hours.

The staff were friendly and helpful. There was a useful lift. Parking was confusing. Parking in front of the hotel cost £10 for 24 hours but guests weren’t told about parking at the back free until they’d booked in. I stayed in a family room with my 2 granddaughters for 1 night , the room I was given was nothing like the family room in their promotional photos. The girls were in bunk beds, not single beds as expected. The lower bunk bed’s metal light was extremely loose. The room decor was very tired and could do with an update. Although reasonably clean

Angus is in the centre of it all: restaurants, shopping, grocery, friendly staff and locals. It is true Scotland. And why come to Scotland unless you are there to experience the culture and the people both of whom are the some of the best in the world. If you want a good local experience, stay at Angus. They will not disappoint.

This hotel had the feel of an old 1980s hotel that had been poorly maintained over the years by the owners. The room was clean but on our second morning we weren't able to have a shower because the shower didn't work. The tap water was also like an oven while the beds were like rocks. Despite promising wi-fi this too was non-existent. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was ok but during our stay there was always a feeling of what was going to go wrong next.
