"Book the stay, called to arrange a taxi to the hotel. Told the lady we were arrive late because of flight cancellation and she said to call 3 taxi services the day of travel. No taxis are working at 8:30 pm on the coast. So there was no way to make it to the hotel and we couldn’t get a refund. Disappointing and frustrating. The lady should have informed us of the area and how taxi’s don’t run late, I could have cancelled and gotten my money back earlier. Paid for a stay I could never arrive at."

"Lovely property with continental breakfast. Andy and his family made us very welcome. Our Classic Family room was perfect and spacious. Andy communicated promptly and gave clear instructions on where to locate our key and room. Quiet location just a few minutes’ drive from the quay in Portmagee. Would totally recommend Seagull Cottage."

"Excellent location. Lovely entryway and stairway to upper floors (natural light, wide). Elevator was very small and slow. Excellent design choices in the room. The shower in our room leaked water all through the bathroom despite attempts to direct water away from (uncloseable) opening. Toilet cover and one handtowel were stained (dirty). Despite billing itself as an eco-friendly establishment, we saw no provisions made for recycling or composting in our rooms or elsewhere. We had booked...

"The hotel had only just opened after a full rebuild. It was tastefully done and the location was in the centre of everything. We only had one night there but it was wonderful. The Manager was very helpful. Highly recommended."
