We were sold a room for $1K a night that was supposed to sleep 4 adults. One King bed in a single room that they rolled two sleep aways portable beds into. They wanted to charge us $50 a night for each sleep away. Totally misleading info on the room. This morning we got to check out and grab a cup of coffee at the restaurant and the bartender refused to get us sugar from the kitchen, as she was “too busy” with 5 clients. The staff at the Cabana was exceptionally nice and very attentive. The wait staff in the main restaurant were mediocre at best. Clearly not trained wait staff - more of bodies moving food. We had fun because of our friends and generally have a good time, regardless, but pretty disappointed in Ballard’s as they don’t really care about their guests.

Rooms small and you can tell they get USED often Blood stain on the white sheets Mold in the shower No water pressure Night stand lamps were dirty and damaged View was a wooded area with a trail that had someone looking into the room until we closed the blinds Restaurant service was poor - food quality was bland not worth the 500+ we paid for dinner But employees were nice and accommodating when asked for a extra pillows as the ones on the bed were very flat Don’t recommend

Great place to enjoy a family weekend

Really nice hotel with very friendly staff. The room was great and being right at the marina and having the beach and restaurants on site make this property perfect for a family weekend trip.

While our room was clean. The bathroom has definitely seen better days, we were missing a shower door, the “shower caddy” was old and gross. The shower head awful! As for the restaurant, food is so overpriced for bad quality frozen food. $34 for chicken tenders and a handful of French fries. Not to mention ALL the single use plastic they use for everything. They never answer the phone, and there is hardly anyone at reception. Bar and kitchen closed by 9 pm When we return, it won’t be at Ballards not for $600 per night That’s for sure!

Nice accommodations but beware, no customer svc

It was very clean and has a contemporary feel, but it was IMPOSSIBLE to get a human to speak with. They only have automated answering and their help menu is poorly designed. Email is the only option they offer. Hope you don’t run into a problem because there’s no one on their end who will help you solve it.

We visited Ballards with a group of friends to celebrate a 55th birthday, and we had a great experience. Three couples in our group stayed 2 nights, and the rooms were very nice, clean and quiet. Having an AC was a plus! We rented cabanas on the beach which made the experience even better. The food was very good, and the service throughout our stay was excellent. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. Overall we had a great time celebrating at Ballard’s and would definitely recommend it.
