Very Private! Three year old Big Star Cabin is Beautifully furnished and Decorated! Large Living room! Large Deck! A Quiet cabin with a beautiful mountain views. We are conveniently located Five miles from historic Blue Ridge shopping and recreation. Two Masters with comfortable King beds. Warm up by the fire pit and make some s'mores. Enjoy sitting on the beautiful large deck. Big Star Cabin is a place to Relax and get away from the Daily Grind.

Great getaway

This is a second time staying at this cabin, Paula the owner is very accomodating. Each time we have checked in, it has been cleaned perfectly. It is cute and has everything you could need while away, makes it feel like your home while away from home. Thank you for another great stay!

Amazing cabin!

The cabin was all it was advertised as & more! It was beautiful & super comfortable. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit & the gas grill was in great shape too. The setting was gorgeous and close to everything we wanted to do. Paula was a great communicator, and provided special details within the cabin to make our stay most enjoyable!

Best Kept Secret

What a great place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle. The cabin was very well-appointed and clean! Love the front porch and the view. We really enjoyed our time here; love the open floor plan and the big kitchen island. Great gathering spot for my daughter's birthday!

Quiet & Relaxing

Cabin was just as described. Very comfortable, outstanding host that responds quickly. We took our grandson with us and all had a great time. Grilled out every night, had a fire and roasted marshmallows and saw deer in the yard every day.

Great cabin

It was all & more than we expected everything on & in the cabin was more than expected all clean beds were comfortable ,setup of 2 masters with 2 baths on first floor was great since we couldn’t climb stairs my wife & sister inlaw were surprised with the kitchen which was stocked with every imaginable utensils view was awsome since it was the top cabin on mountain we had deers visit us most of the days cabin is close to shops like Walmart Englis , will defenitly be back had a great time , we had great communication with Paula she was great & so helpful thanks for letting us enjoy your enjoyable relaxing cabin

LOVED IT

The cabin has so much attention to detail. VERY comfy bed and pillows. It has everything you need for cooking. We enjoyed the fire pit and hot tub. Everything was wonderful and the cute downtown of Blue Ridge is a quick drive. We were truly at peace. Paula was a text away which was so nice, although we didn’t need her. We will be back.

Perfect experience

The cabin is just perfect! It had everything we needed for our family vacation. Beautiful views too! The location was ideal for hiking, tubing and whitewater rafting. Seeing the bears was super exciting for our girls! Lifetime memories were made! Paula was the greatest! Easy to communicate with and quick to respond and help. Five stars all the way around!

Beautiful Cabin

We had a great stay! The view was beautiful. The rental felt very secluded. We liked the privacy. It was exactly as described except it seemed a bit larger than the photos. It was very close to BlueRidge and convenient to stores. We saw plenty of wildlife and got some fishing in at a local spot. The only negative was the yard needed some maintenance. It looked as if no one had mowed the grass for awhile so we didn’t attempt to use the fire pit area due to the high grass. Other than that,we plan to come stay here again!

Excellent!

We were very impressed with the cleanliness and features of this property. It was better than we expected from the pictures. The drive to the top of the mountain is real, but our Jeep had no problem, even towing a small trailer. For us, the place had total privacy. There was no one who could see us while we were on the property. However, there appears to be a new property being built that will have visibility if it is occupied. That's unfortunate. We would definitely stay at this location again.

Like new condition cabin, well equipped

We enjoyed our 4 day stay at the Big Star cabin. It is still very new and was well appointed and nicely decorated for the Holiday. The beds were comfortable with lots of extra warm blankets for a chilly night. The kitchen was equipped with anything you would need to prepare a large meal. The loft area was small and cozy, I would recommend it for kids, but the two downstairs bedrooms had nice King beds in them. Probably the best feature was that the hot-tub is on the main level deck and sunk into the deck making it super easy to un-cover and use so we used it a lot. Most cabins have a hot-top by the walk-out basement - this is a better setup.

Birthday weekend

WOW! Easy beautiful drive, you definitely need a 4 wd. The Blue Ridge town and Ingles Supermarket and close by but yet you are up in the trees with this lovely home! It is a perfectly situated cabin with amazing relaxing mountain views! The air was so fresh, the firepit was so nice and the gas powered home was very cozy, everything worked fast. The Christmas decor made it very special. The beds were super cozy and great sleep. The loft is fun for kids we had none but we enjoyed looking down on the house! The back deck was great with rocking chairs to have coffee or a drink in the evening, the grille was awesome for cooking, the hot tub ohhhhh so relaxing! They even had a washer dryer which really helped for towels. We really connected here with peace and quiet, walks and naps, conversations and meals and even a few games. We would highly recommend and we will go back again maybe during the spring. Thank you Paula and Ron we loved it! Great hosts they are super at communication and very polite.

Magical

This is my first getaway in 3 years and like a honeymoon for us as we didn't get to have one after we got married. This vacation was everything for us! From a smooth check in process to our check out. Everything was so organized which I love! So grateful we got to use Paula and her husband's cabin. It was so clean and they have thought about everything. There's really no reason to leave unless you want to check out downtown Blue Ridge. It's peaceful so we got relax. We got to see the fireworks on fourth of July from the porch, which was a bonus. Everything is conveniently close as well! We decided that we will make BigStar our place to go to every year. You won't regret renting this little slice of heaven. The most beautiful view as well. Paula is so responsive too! Thank you both from the bottom of our hearts, we're truly grateful!

Big Star TX Bestie Visit

It was absolutely perfect; so many thoughtful touches made the stay just seamless. The house has so many nice features and was so clean and beautiful. The view is spectacular and we really had no need to go anywhere the whole weekend. The hot tub was beautiful and so clean. Thank you for a memorable trip.
