Great getaway
This cabin was perfect for a quick weekend getaway. Great amenities, great hosts.
Or family really enjoyed our stay at this property! It was the perfect size for our family of 4 and was located right between Elijay and Blue Ridge. Everything was very clean and well maintained and we enjoyed having the hot tub and wood burning fireplace every night of our stay. We will definitely be back for another visit whenever we can!

Quaint and cozy!
Honey Bear Hideout is a very clean and well maintained cozy cabin. Perfect size for one or two couples. Great amenities and hot tub. Can be a challenge for parking and egress if you have anything larger than a 1/2 ton truck; all wheel drive is recommended.

Location, location, location
The cabin is conveniently located between Ellijay and Blue Ridge. The driveway is not easily accessible - we did back in as a previous review suggested. The cabin itself was very clean and well stocked. We like to cook and we had everything we needed to prepare meals.
Great cabin in great location. Driveway very difficult.
Beautiful cabin in great location. Very peaceful “treehouse” in the woods. Very nice area. It was easy to get to Blue Ridge and Ellijay. The only drawback was the driveway! We had to pass it, upon every return, turn around down the road, and come back, to pull in. Other than that, perfect stay.

Itterberg Cabin
The cabin was clean, comfortable, and stocked with everything we needed. The furniture and beds were very comfortable. The hot tub was clean and working properly. It was an added bonus that we were able to bring our pups. There were only two drawbacks: 1) a storm caused some erosion of the gravel and dirt at the start of the driveway, making a steep drop-off even more so; 2) we could only watch Netflix since the interface would not allow us to add or access other apps.
My husband and I recently stayed for our Anniversary. Everything was perfect. Couldnt be more thrilled. Only have one suggestion...sugar! We forgot sugat and our coffee definitely could have used some. Everything else was perfectly stocked!
We arrived Friday evening to no heat. A statement was left on the door saying the gas company had turned the heat off. After contacting VACASA, we left for a couple of hours, and they managed to contact the gas company and they came out and turned the gas back on. It just took a while to warm up the cabin. There was really only room for our one vehicle (F250). The driveway is tiny, narrow and not easy to get in and out, but that is not a deal breaker, just make sure you are not in a huge vehicle.

Decent experience with some issues
When we arrived at our cabin, neither bad was finished being made and we couldn’t tell if the sheets were dirty or clean. Vacasa sent someone else with sheets around an hour later.
The Wi-Fi also did not work for the entirety of the trip- after multiple calls to the local office they got back to us with some suggestions to try to fix but none worked. Luckily we got service and could use hotspots to return emails.
The Cabin itself is very nice quaint and cute but the driveway is a bit rough to turn into if you have a sedan.
Overall we enjoyed our experience but I don’t know if I’ll be booking a Vacasa run house again.

Lovely and comfortable home
The cabin is lovely and perfect for a very small family or couple. The only downsides were that there is no view whatsoever and the driveway is difficult to maneuver.
We had a great little getaway, the place was clean and cozy. We enjoyed ourselves and loved the area it was very peaceful and quite relaxing

Cozy Cabin!
We loved our stay at the Itterberg Cabin! It was the perfect size for 2 couples, plus one pup! The deck is the perfect spot to enjoy some morning coffee, and the hot tub was such a blast! The cabin is in great proximity to so much hiking. We also enjoyed checking out the big foot museum and eating at the Pink Pig. An awesome fall getaway!

Home away from home
Itterberg Cabin felt like a home away from home. It was quint and homey and being able to bring our fur babies was wonderful. Everything was very clean and tidy. The hot tub was of course a wonderful addition. The location was great being on a small mountain but not too far away from town. The only things I would’ve wanted to know before staying was that there was no Keurig in the kitchen, only a standard coffee pot. My husband had to chop wood for the fire which was fine, however if there’s not someone strong enough present, that could become a problem. We had to find and use our own lighter in order to light the fire. And although it didn’t bother me, my husband was hoping for cable but we were able to at least access Netflix. Lastly, we had a very hard time getting out of the driveway with it not being paved and even got stuck a few times. But overall we would definitely consider visiting again!!

Great cabin
We had a nice time at this cabin. It was a relaxing quiet spot not too close to other cabins. We really enjoyed sitting on the back deck and the hot tub. The driveway was a bit tricky but we did have two large vehicles and managed. The kitchen wasn’t as stocked as I’ve had at other cabins but it had the basics to get by. Very clean and comfy beds!
We had a rainy stay but that was fine since we wanted to rest and chill out. The back porch is beautiful and where we spent most of our time. The cabin is was small but just right for 3 adults. The only down side is the short narrow driveway.
