This accommodation is situated right in the heart of the old town. We were able to walk to everything we wanted to see. Our rooms were wonderful. We ate at both restaurants are were very impressed with the extensive menu and quality of the dishes. The pool was a lovely way to wind down after a day of sightseeing. We would definitely stay here again.

Location of the hotel is the best in Bogota if you are staying in the Candelaria . Close to everything. Hotel has valet parking which helped us out quite a bit. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and staff was friendly and and helpful

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! honestly, I would never stay anywhere else but this hotel in Bogota. I had an incredible experience here. The people are so accommodating and kind and sweet. The breakfast is off the charts amazing with the best tropical fruit on the planet… And that’s no joke! There is the most wonderful and healing spa with a beautiful clean pool. I got a massage and it was divine. I actually made a few reservations because I extended my stay, but the total was five nights and my room was gorgeous with an incredible balcony! I love the high ceilings and the colonial field. The location is in La Candelaria, which is the best possible place to stay in Bogota. It’s in the heart of all of the magic. Also, it’s very safe! I will be back many more times! Thank you so so much for an incredible experience!

Hotel was dated and although clean the room facilities, particularly the bathrooms, were old and now substandard. In the bathroom there were chipped or broken tiles and the the sink smelt damp from failed seals. The breakfast was also mediocre and not a high standard. Ruben on reception was helpful but another colleague less helpful and not very friendly. Although a good location for exploring La Candelaria, it feels as though the hotel is reliant on its past reputation. The hotel bar was always shut and if the restaurant opened then we were unaware and no information was provided by the staff.

We stayed at the Opera Hotel so we could attend the late night Candlelight Concert at the Teatro Colón next door. We have stayed there before and the hotel is still amazing! The rooms are private, comfortable, clean, and have a charming colonial design. The breakfast in the morning is excellent with all the varied Colombian favorites plus fruit, breads, and an omelet cook. The spa is amazingly relaxing and the pools are quite warm. The only recommendation I make is to ask for robes and slippers to be sent to your room as soon as you checkin so you don’t have to wear street clothes down to the spa.

Rigtig god placering i Bogotá - og virkelig sødt personale. Giver kun 3 stjerner, fordi jeg føler hotellet bliver oversolgt på billeder og det faktum, der skulle være et femstjernet hotel. For det er det ikke. Morgenmaden var fin nok - men slet ikke som på 5-stjernede hoteller. Det er et gammelt, historisk hotel - men i mine øjne heller ikke det, jeg forbinder med et rigtigt botique-hotel. Det første værelse vi fik havde skodder for vinduet, så det var meget mørkt. Vi fik derfor et andet værelse - personalet var virkelig søde. Så alt i alt blev jeg desværre skuffet, da jeg så, hvad vi havde købt. Restauranten med den gode udsigt er desuden kun åben i weekenden - og man kan ikke få de behandlinger i spaen, der står her på hotels.com.
