Beautiful quiet space surrounded by the changing leaves and crisp air. Lovely breakfast scenario with roaring fire! Missed having an open bar or dining open as it was mid week but will be back again

This was our 2nd Time staying for the entire weekend & this business is A HIDDEN GEM . The scenery is so beautiful our suite was soooo spacious! The staff is SO NICE & Ive NEVER had a complementary breakfast SO LUXURIOUS. I love it here ! If they weren't so booked I'll literally stay every time we come to Boone for my brothers App State game ! I never leave reviews btw ... they deserved it

Amazing staff, great location, and a beautiful view of the mountains. I would definitely recommend staying here. I traveled alone for a short while, and this place was my favorite without a doubt. The breakfast was surprisingly good, and the bar was also really nice. I would definitely stay here again if I get the chance.

The hospitality was top notch! The property was clean, quiet and beautiful! Olivia, the front desk attendant was very friendly and hospitable! I have mixed feelings about this place. It's such a stunning little piece of dream - We saw it back in October while driving around and wanted to check it out. We booked two rooms for one night with our friends (one with a dog). We made the reservations via expedia but the check in process took nearly half an hour because the lady (who was super friendly and sweet btw) kept mixing up and getting confused about the reservation details, credit card details, room details, our names etc etc. The rooms we got were in a separate new section of the building and the construction crew had ladders, wires and tools lying all over the front of the main door making it pretty hazardous to get in and out of the building. The sound insulation of the rooms was terrible - we could hear every conversation, door slam, footsteps of people from the side and the above and was difficult to sleep. The mattress was super hard as well - which did not help. The rooms and bathrooms were large and clean though (other than the STRONG dog smell). "The Table" - where breakfast is served was amazing - the food options were limited but what we got tasted great - there wasn't anything vegetarian though (my friends eat eggs so that helped) - although we informed them during check in about it - and also were given a specific slot when we were to go for breakfast. My biggest issue was not being able to relax and sleep - so not sure I wish to return ... it was reasonably priced though.

Stayed here back in 2013 and was very excited to be in the area and able to stay here again. They’ve made some renovations since and it’s definitely updated, and a more boutique hotel vibe. So grateful they kept the library the same. That’s where they served breakfast which was simple but delicious, we got to enjoy it next to the fire place since it was chilly the morning we stayed. Every employee we encountered was so friendly and hospitable, they definitely went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. The grounds are quiet and there’s a pretty mountain road you drive up to reach the Inn. Close to downtown Blowing Rock, Boone and the south entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway. We can’t wait to come back up in the fall!

Great laid back retreat

Wonderful place to relax and enjoy the mountain scenery. Hotel is out in secluded area and has great views of the mountains. Location is along Blue Ridge Parkway which was really nice.

Lovely weekend getaway!

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious, cozy and clean. Loved having the fireplace in the room. The restaurant was lovely with amazing food. Drinks were yummy! I did not get a chance to use the pool as it was closed due to the extremely low temperatures making it difficult to keep the pool warm.

Alex at the front desk was absolutely phenomenal! The spa was unfortunately out of order for the evening but she offered some compensatory amenities and helped make the night a great one all the same.
