Welcome to The Suite at Rivendell, a peaceful two-bedroom retreat tucked into the lower level of a beautiful country home. Surrounded by rolling hills, a spring-fed pond, and quiet mountain scenery, it’s the perfect place to slow down while still being close to everything the High Country has to offer.

Inside you’ll find a spacious living area with comfortable seating, an electric fireplace, books, games, and plenty of room to relax after a day of exploring.

The kitchenette makes it easy to prepare simple meals with a refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, sink, and essentials for your stay.

Sleep comfortably in two queen bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with soft linens and bedside lighting. One bedroom features the owner`s entire theological library, creating a cozy reading retreat unlike anywhere else.

Please Note
The Suite is a private apartment located on the lower level of the owner’s home with its own private entrance. While the outdoor spaces may occasionally be shared, the property is large and designed to provide guests with a peaceful, relaxing experience.

The Suite at Rivendell`s entrance is located on the lower level on the back side of the home (facing the view!). There is a gravel path that will lead you to your door.

As your host, I`m available via messaging!

The owners live right upstairs and can be available if needed as well but please message me first

The Suite at Rivendell does not allow cats or the following dog breeds: Dobermans, Rottweilers, German Shepherds or Chows. Thank you for understanding!

There is a pet fee of $100 and your dog must be on the reservation. The dog limit is 2. Dogs are not allowed on the furniture.

The owners have a dog named Belle! She may bark but she is very sweet and will keep her distance, especially if the owners aren’t home. She roams free so guest’s dogs need to be on a leash when outside.

Please note: 4wd is required November-April

Parking - the parking is best suited for a small car but we can accommodate larger vehicles if needed. Please let us know if you have any questions!

As this is a lower level walkout unit, you may hear footsteps above from time to time

There is central heating and air!

There is another short term rental (Smokey`s) next door. The amenities like the pond and seating areas around the barn are shared with the owners and Smokey`s guests. The fire pit at Smokey`s is for Smokey`s guests only.

If you would like to book the Suite at Rivendell & Smokey`s at the same time for a larger group, please let us know!
No loud noises or music
No smoking
No parties
No food down the sink in the kitchenette or bathroom
Please keep your pets quiet and off the furniture (an extra cleaning fee of $200 will be added if pet hair is found on the furniture - we appreciate your understanding!)
Please do not go up the interior stairs as this leads to the owners` private living space
Please be mindful of our sensitive septic system and only use toilet paper
