Cheap hotel. Good location. Great Indian style food downstairs.
First the good: Charlie on the front desk could not be nicer or more helpful. It’s got tons of parking and the restaurant downstairs does a decent curry. My bed was comfy and it wasn’t noisy.
But unfortunately the hotel is really dilapidated. There’s barely a square foot of carpet that isn’t stained. First floor super run down. The first room I was put in was filthy with a pile of dirty towels in the corner, a full bin full of stinking 24 hour old food and the surface of the desk crawling with sugar, coffee and god knows what else. Charlie however immediately moved me to a new, clean room. No check in before 5pm is annoying but made clear in advance.
I paid £40 for the night for a double. Got exactly what I paid for and received excellent customer
Spent 2 nights at this Hotel, was exploring the area.. room was suitable for my needs, clean and cosy.. the first night was a little noisy with other users slamming doors often banging on each others doors.. bit annoying but thankfully didn’t last long.. second night was quiet and peaceful, would stay at this hotel again

Checking it earlier would have been better we found 5pm a bit late.
More details to finishing, room was nice and adequate, but if you were a large couple it would have been very small and decorating was unfinished.
But apart from that we enjoyed our stay and would stay again at the right price.
Shower dreadful, ran it for five minutes but still only lukewarm water, poor water pressure and lots of black mould on walls. No soap, except in shower, toilet almost impossible to flush. Room too hot to sleep, could not turn off radiator. Bed OK, receptionist polite, friendly and helpful. Probably a grand hotel by standards of 100 years ago, changed little.

We paid for an early check-in so the key was left for us however the key didn't work in the room door. Staff were fantastic and came straight out and had to change the lock (twice). They were very attentive and apologised profusely.
The bed was comfortable but the room needed a good clean. It looked grubby and substandard.
The toilet was sandwiches between the bath and wall so had to stand up to clean yourself.
Appreciate it was cheap but cleanliness should be a given.
Can't fault the staff though, and the location was good.

Room was ok, bed was clean and comfortable , bathroom was nicer and more updated. No lifts which was hard with carrying luggage but a small inconvenience.
You do have to pay to park here which you didn't used to but it's a good Central location. Will use again.

Great location for city centre and parking is easy, staff is helpful and nice. Hada bit unpleasant experience with amenities - acknowledged and fixed at best capacity.
The hotel was clean but basic. The staff were very helpful and friendly. This is a good place to stay if you're on a budget and don't worry about the frills. It's a little tired but that is easy to forgive at this price. It's close to the centre and so very convenient for anyone working in, or vising Boston.
There is an Indian restaurant on site which is worth visiting, and a public bar so if you're visiting friends it there is a good place to meet.
As I say it ain't the Ritz but its certainly good value
Room was clean and the staff were friendly. Only problem was that the heating was on all the time so had to have the window open all the time. Didn't sleep very well as too hot
Staff were helpful sorting an incident when entering the room in which the tv was on the floor and disabled. They prompted to find another room straight away, no problem.
I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. I booked 2 nights and I only stayed one. Firstly the staff had a little bit of an attitude whilst we were checking in which we didn’t mind anyways. But once we started making way to our room we started to sense urine smells on the stairs and hallways on the way to our room. On the floor of our room there was another room blasting music from the moment we got there until the next morning and kept on going non stop. The staff didn’t really seem to care much about it. Next was the room. The room was terrible the beds had mild growing. There were liquid marks on the walls. Mild growing on the ceiling as well as wallpaper peeling off in every corner of the room. The smell was also just like the hallways stank of dust and a bit of urine. I don’t think they even have cleaning staff as there was no proof of cleaning or anything. We couldn’t even take a shower due to the state of it plus the water wouldn’t even stay cold. It would stay warm for 1 minute then go straight to freezing cold. The next day we booked another hotel because it was so bad in there we couldnt even believe we stayed the night before in there. If I could give negative stars I would. This hotel needs to be investigated by the local government as there is no way it is even up to standards!!!

You get what you pay for, £40 was a good price for the room. There were stains on the walls and check in is quite late on with only opening at 5pm however the beds were clean as well as the bathroom.
parking was poor and the. all the hotel room do need a very quick. update as the hot water never got hot only luck warm and my partner had a bath before we went out for a family meal and I had to boil the kettle about 5 times so my partner could have a nice warm bath a d the beds are not good so I would never. stop at that hotel again. and I had to get some tools to get the bath plug out as it's not on a chain and after we let the bathwater go we got a knock on the door from a member of staff to say we have made the carpet in the dining room very wet and when we went to have a look yes it had mad the dinner room carpet very wet and also 2 chairs got wet as well so I say there a big problem with the plumber in the hotel and also the wardrobe was not fixed to the wall so I would never pay the money I paid. sorry but I am telling you about the place and room
