Idyllisch und abseits gelegen strahlt die Umgebung totale Ruhe aus. Wer Ruhe und Entspannung sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Die Burg Bourscheid in unmittelbarer Nähe, nach Diekirch oder Ettelbruck 20 min mit dem Auto, von einem der beiden Bahnhöfe kostenlos mit der Bahn in 30 min in Luxembourg ... perfekt! Das Personal ist sehr freundlich, das Restaurant wirklich empfehlenswert, ob à la carte oder HP. Die Balkone sind winzig, aber die Terrasse bzw. die Liegemöglichkeiten am Ufer der Sauer entschädigen dafür ...

Goed hotel, maar wel verbeterpunten badkamer

Het hotel is zeer mooi ingericht, de badkamer was wel gedateerd en de aansluiting onderaan ontbrak en geen actieve afzuiging waardoor de spiegel beslagen bleef. Het ontbijt was goed, maar de koffiemachine bleef maar problemen geven en gaf geen goede cappuccino maar meer water.

Een uitstekend hotel voor cocooning. Wij hadden een cottage en dat is zeker aan te bevelen. De kamer is zeer ruim en de badkamer overdadig qua faciliteiten. De koffie op de kamer is helaas wat minder verzorgd (alleen decaf, om gewone koffie moet je telkens vragen) en het eten is vooral volumineus. Maar het personeel is heel vriendelijk en de kwaliteit van dit hotel is echt goed. Waarschijnlijk scoren ze hoog genoeg voor een herhaalbezoek!

Hele mooie omgeving. Hotel is netjes, ontbijt is goed. Medewerkers vriendelijk, alleen wat weinig waardoor je 's avonds erg lang op je drankje moet wachten. Kamer is schoon als je aankomt, maar tijdens je verblijf niet erg uitgebreid, spulletjes die je gebruikt hebt worden ook niet meer aangevuld. Avondeten is erg duur en niet zoveel keus.

Weekend Away

We stayed in one of the cottages which was modern, clean, and well appointed. The cottage could accommodate 4 people, as there was a double bed in a separate bedroom. The bathroom was modern, and the room came with a spa bath. TV and minibar were included. The staff were friendly, but during our visit were working very hard and appeared short staffed. Breakfast was just ok, again not helped by the number of visitors the weekend we were there. Location is perfect if you want to relax and take easy.
