Great place in Shetland

Our experience in Shetland was greatly enhanced by our hotel stay. The staff were very helpful. Particularly Scott and Curtis at breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The amenities were very good and useful. Even though it was a distance from Lerwick it was definitely the correct choice to stay.

A nice hotel with very helpful staff. Some minor issues on our arrival which were sorted out immediately. The problem was with Expedia booking, not the hotel. Absolutely perfect for our visit which was for a business trip. We will definitely go back next time we are in Shetland.

Seriously overpriced for our stay. Food terrible. Only ate in once. Best to go up the road for fish and chips. Continental breakfast was cereal and the occasional pastry. Presliced white and brown bread. No rolls. Fried breakfast okay. Location good for ferries from Toft.

It was our first time in Shetland and from the day we arrived the staff could not have done anything more for us they went over and above to help us with places to go things to see . We arrived 5 hours early and they still let us check in so we could catch up on some sleep, Scott and Curtis are just fantastic they also go over and above to help they so friendly and happy which was nice to see and the singing was not to bad either ,The hotel is located in a very central location as there is a Chinese five minutes up the road and a chippy two minutes walk down from the hotel and a coop at the bottom of the hill , that is of course if you don’t want to eat in the hotel as the food is just as good too. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Comfortable friendly stay

Charming friendly staff, nice hot full Scottish breakfast included. Easy to find and easy parking. Option of dinner - sadly this is usually for hotel guests only, but they accommodate when they can. We enjoyed one dinner there and it was wonderful. I had the poached salmon and my spouse had steak pie, both delicious. The room was small but spotless, and the bed very comfortable. Would definitely recommend!!

The reception staff was very helpful. Check in was quick and easy. The restaurant and bar were exceptional. Dinner options had a few changes each evening. Book early because bus services like this location. Our room was very nice with a view of the water. Breakfast was great and quick. Check out was easy.

Had a lovely two night stay with very comfy bed and very clean comfortable room, Staff go out of their way to be very helpful and friendly When we arrived it was 11 am and we weren’t due to be in our room until 3 I was being very sick due to our journey there on the ferry And the hotel kindly let us into our rooms at 12 I was extremely grateful .. we will definitely be returning.
