Cozy Cottage on Beautiful Branch Lake with Private Beach & Dock close to Acadia

"Thoroughly enjoyed this spot on Branch Lake, loved our canoeing adventure provided by the host where we were able to catch glimpses of some loons. The house space was very comfortable. It was in a great location within proximity to Acadia National Park. This is a peaceful place and one we said to ourselves , “we could come here again”."

"Everything was great, location was easy to find, instructions were clear, space is welcoming, clean and comfortable. Bed was very comfortable! Many thoughtful touches such as coffee, filters, half & half and sweeteners.. Also motion detected lighting in the entryway... Plenty of storage in the very large walk-in closet, and hooks and such for your towels in the bathroom. Decor very welcoming and pleasing. We had the pleasure of meeting our hosts, Jim and Janell, and they even had an extra blueberry pie that they shared with us! And they welcomed our friendly pooch! Thank you very much! And highly recommend!"

"My family and I absolutely LOVED this place! We did not want to leave at all. Location is a little far from Acadia NP (which we liked). It was quiet, comfortable, and most of all beautiful. The kids loved the accessibility to the water, where we saw bald eagles and loons. Everybody slept great. The hosts are thorough with instructions and communication. We will ABSOLUTELY be back! Thanks for having us!"

"This is really the perfect place for a family get away. We’ve been staying here for the last seven years each summer, with two growing kids (now adult-sized) and our (also large) dog. We bring an air mattress for (said huge) kids to take turns with but we’re used to sharing small spaces and this is all perfect and just enough for all of us. The pond, Acadia, nearby special spots to get coffee and pastries and pizza- it’s just what we look forward to each summer."

"Our family had the best time here! The house was clean, comfortable, and very well stocked with everything you could need. The setting is absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. We loved using the kayaks, and my kids had a blast on the water trampoline. We only wish we had stayed longer!"
