Nice place for holidays

The place is nice for a family holiday. I went there knowingly although I was on a business trip but had to book in the last minute and didn't have a lot of options. A lot of activity going on, which is nice but noisy if you are not a parttaker.

We usually stay here for a week over Christmas every year. To be honest, the spa facilities and the hotel itself are not bad at all however we have had a few issues over recent stays. Namely a billing issue between the hotel and Expedia itself which took an entire afternoon of our visit to resolve. I would recommend that the newer side of the hotel is the nicer one for rooms. The food is nice, the bar area is lovely. Half board is usually on offer for a stay, which includes a multi-course evening meal. All in all, it’s a reliably good hotel.

A great web site but not much behind it.

Management was not to be seen. A lot of undertrained staff. The main hotel is in very poor condition and needs major renovations. Hygiene can be seriously improved. The new section of the hotel with a spa and the restaurant is on the other side of the street. In the main building, there is no possibility to have tea or coffee, not in the room and not in the foyer. Good things: lots of dogs, food, Anjelika did a great job in the spa, and Vlad with Jürgen rescued the service. Convienient location.

This hotel is not a four star hotel. It is aged but most importantly lacks any show of being well managed. Everything has to be asked for (no third bed in room on arrival despite booking triple occupancy then no towels). The staff did not even put a refuse bin the room or a liner in the lavatory bin. Daily confusion over a table for breakfast was frustrating. Beware the layout as some builinga a considerable way from each other. Brand is a fabulous village, the Walliserhoff is not a fabulous institution.

Plus: - Pool für Kids - Gute Lage - nettes Personal Minus: - für eine einfache Tischreservierung zum Abendessen wurde und Halbpension unwissentlich verkauft, was dazu führte, bei dem wir nur Menüs mit Essen bestellen konnten, was wir gar nicht wollten und unverschämt teuer war. Bei uns haben sie es zurückgebucht, bei unseren Mitreisenden nicht. Eine Portion Pommes hätte uns dann 40€ kosten sollen. - Tischsituation beim Frühstück. Entweder bekommt man immer den gleichen Tisch, oder man macht freie Platzwahl. So war es einfach nur nervig

Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen und nicht wirklich clean. Wellness Abteilung war gut. Leider spart man an ausgebildeten Fachkräften. Langes Warten oder gar keine Bestellung erhalten kein Deutsch kein Englisch. Keine richtige Aufklärung an der Reception. Auf der Checkout Rechnung viele Fehler auch mit Doppel Berechnung. Keine Rückfrage ob der Aufenthalt in Ordnung war. Leider meinerseits keine Wiederholung in Sicht.

Leicht enttäuscht - freundlicher Service vorhanden

Mein Zimmer war weit weg von den Bildern die gezeigt wurden. Es wirkte, als sei es schon 30 Jahre alt. Sauberkeit war nicht so toll, bei Bezug Haar in der Badewanne und im Waschbecken, in der Woche auch mal ein Haarbüschel im Handtuch. Wellnessbereich war gut, Service sehr zuvorkommend!

Walliserhof een upgrade gedaan naar het nieuwe gedeelte was erg prijzig maar een fantastisch mooi appartement met prachtig uitzicht, een heerlijk ontbijt en een mooie sauna/zwembad + vriendelijk personeel.

Leider war das Zimmer sehr unsauber. Trinkbecher und auch Zahnputzbecher sehr verdreckt, unbenutzbar. Die Vorhänge verschmutzt, der Teppich ungesagt, das Waschbecken im Bad verkalkt und wenn man in das Zimmer reinkommt, empfängt einen ein sehr übler, muffiger Geruch. Selbst nach mehrmaligen Lüften nicht weg zu bekommen. Lag bestimmt an den Vorhängen und am Teppich. Schade denn sonst ist es ein sehr schönes Hotel, mit freundlichem Personal und einem tollen Spa Bereich. Ebenfalls kann man das Frühstücksbüffet nur loben, auch hier alles hervorragend. Alles in allem, wenn man die Zimmer etwas auf Vordermann bringt und insgesamt mehr auf Sauberkeit achtet, ist es sonst ein schöner Aufenthalt in einer noch schöneren Gegend.

Wir kommen wieder...

Das Brandnertal ist immer eine Reise wert. Wir empfehlen den "Walliserhof", vor allem wegen des leckeren Frühstücks. Unser Zimmer war leider etwas dunkel. Aber für eine Nacht hat es gepasst. Der Wellness-Bereich hat uns gefallen. Preis-/Leistung sehr gut.

Sehr schön gestaltetes Designerhotel in schöner Landschaft mit ansprechendem Wellness-Bereich, bei dem besonders der Pool hervorzuheben ist, denn man kann in ihm richtig schwimmen.

Nous adorons la décoration design de cet hôtel. Le massage a été excellent. Très bon service. Restauration excellente. Deux petits points négatifs: chambre sans vue et bruits de chaises au dessus de la chambre (restaurant) le soir et le matin (7h).

Die Benützung der Wellnessanlage ist etwas kompliziert, da das Hotel auf mehrere Häuser aufgeteilt ist. Sehr tolles Ambiente! Sauber und freundlich. Super Frühstück!!!

Trendiges Lifestylehotel. Der Style hat aber auch seine Besonderheiten. Zum neuen Hotel gehört ein zweites Hotel das wohl früher das Haupthaus war. Der Empfang ist im Altbau. Dort sind auch die meisten der preisgünstigen Standardzimmer. Die Standardzimmer im Neubau sind nicht empfehlenswert. Ausblick auf eine Mauer! Wir empfehlen mindestens die bessere Zimmerkategorie zu buchen. Diese Zimmer sind deutlich grösser mit schönem Ausblick. Nachteilig ist dass das Restaurant und der Wellnessbereich nur im Neubau sind. Die Gäste des Altbaus gehen dann gerne mal im Bademantel über die Straße. Auch das Frühstück wird wohl nur im Neubau serviert. Nicht für jedermann sind die niedrigen Betten geeignet. Liegehöhe wohl 40cm über Boden. Der Wellnessbereich ist toll und bietet Sauna und Pool. Abstellraum für Ski und weitere Sportsartikel mit verschliessbarem Spint ist auch für alle Wintersportler sehr interessant Insgesamt war das Personal sehr hilfsbereit und offen für besondere Wünsche! Wir würden dort wieder buchen.
