We come to Schuster every year when visiting Brașov, and it remains one of the best options in the city thanks to its location and intimate boutique feel. This year, however, we noticed a few changes. For the first time, we didn’t receive turndown service. The front desk mentioned it’s only offered around the holidays, which was surprising given our experience in previous years. We also ordered tea to the room and were charged for it, another first for us. The property is beautiful and well maintained, though daily housekeeping could be more thorough. Our bathroom floor had shoe marks that remained after the room was serviced. We also booked massages, which were very good, although my preference for pressure wasn’t adjusted during the treatment. International guests should also be aware that there is no draping during the massage, so expect to be partially undressed and uncovered throughout much of the experience. This may be common practice locally, but it can be surprising if you’re accustomed to the privacy standards of U.S. spas. Breakfast is good, but I’d love to see more local producers and higher-quality Romanian ingredients, giving guests an opportunity to experience local flavors. Overall, we still enjoy Schuster and will likely return, but as returning guests, the changes in service were noticeable this year.

Brilliant location and beautiful boutique hotel with unique rooms and delightful roof balcony. Good breakfast. Parking is a pain in the old town so expect to have to circle round a bit. Amenities are lacking - there was no shampoo, conditioner or tissues. Very polite helpful staff. Wonderful overall.

This property in located in Old Town, close enough to the main square to make it easy to walk there, but not too close so it's not noisy. The rooms were nicely laid out and clean. The included breakfast offered a wide variety of foods. Highly recommend!

Likes: top-notch staffs, chic and spacious room with hardwood floors, clean and modern bathroom, high quality breakfast, eco friendly free water, location, walkability All the staffs were extremely friendly and helpful accommodating all of my requests. The interior of the hotel was beautifully designed throughout the property. The breakfast was consistenty delicious with high quality ingredients and many options for a veggitarian. The breakfast staffs were outstanding. All these made me feel welcomed and relaxed. I would like to thank all the staffs for their hospitality and would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Unglaublich freundliches hilfsbereites Personal, schöne große Zimmer, großartiges Frühstück, schöne Dachterrasse, hervoragende zentrale Lage in der Altstadt. Leider aber auch demnach ganz miserable Parkplqtzsituation (Hotel hat keine eigenen). Mit Hund gab's keine Probleme, auch wenn man leider nicht in den recht kleinen (aber sehr schönen) Frühstückssaal durfte, aber wir konnten in einem Außenbereich sein.

We experienced some technical issues with the room, which could have easily affected the overall experience. However, Adriana handled the situation with exceptional professionalism, care, and genuine kindness. She was proactive, attentive, and made every effort to resolve the issue quickly while ensuring we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Incredible stay!!!!! Don’t stay anywhere else in Brasov, this is the place. Everyone here at this boutique hotel was soo nice and welcoming. The rooftop balcony was absolutely amazing. The most beautiful view in Brasov. The pictures only the listing are exactly up to par with what you’ll stay at. The bed was comfy, couch as well. Lighting system so cozy! If I ever come back I’m going to stay here again. We stayed three nights total and had breakfast each morning cuz it was soo good.
