The ‘snug’ on the second floor provides an ideal space for younger children or teenagers to ‘chill’ equipped with corner sofa, 3 comfy bean bag chairs, large TV with DVD player and Apple TV. Access to the elevated and fully enclosed back garden is from the ‘snug’ room and via a footbridge, a two tiered decked area plus lawn offers an ideal place to relax and take in the wonderful views across the rooftops and towards Braunton Burrows. The famous Tarka Trail starts just a few hundred yards from Wyndham Villa – a perfect way to take in the scenery of the Taw and Torridge estuaries either on foot or bicycle. Keen birdwatchers, walkers and naturalists will find plenty to explore in the area. Nearby NT Arlington Court, Marwood Gardens, RHS Rosemoor Gardens, Dartington Crystal Works and Exmoor National Park are all within easy driving distance. Fishing, sailing, and horse riding, plus surf board, windsurf, wetsuit and bicycle hire are all available locally.
