Tannenbaum By The River Condominiums are one of our most popular destinations with its convenient location near the ski area. Nestled in a wooded area, these units are right next to the Blue River that runs beneath towering Blue Spruce trees. Feel the true Colorado experience as you relax on your private balcony with the river running below.
Less than a five minute walk to the Quicksilver Super Chair at the Peak 9 Base Area, take a quick stroll over a bridge and start your ski day. When you're done ski down to the base and walk back across the bridge to the complex and take retreat in your unit. If nightlife is what you are looking for, it is a short walk to the Peak 9 Village and all of the restaurants and shops on Park Avenue and Main Street in the heart of downtown.

You will enjoy staying in this open, top floor, two bedroom plus loft and three bathroom unit which provides beautiful views of the Blue River.

The living room area has vaulted ceilings, an immense water-rock gas fireplace, two plush couches and side chairs that allow you to relax while watching a movie on the flat screen TV.

All units feature high speed internet and access to the on-site coin operated laundry facility. The common area deck is equipped with two grills and picnic area to accommodate any size group. Guests of Tannenbaum can enjoy access to the newly renovated Columbine Recreation Center (offsite, located across Columbine Road) with an outdoor heated pool, 4 outdoor oversized hot tubs, and changing rooms. Very spacious condo. We love staying in this area. Great community pool and easy walk to town.

The condo is as it appears on line. Most enjoyed the view from the sitting area. Bird watching occurred each morning. Five adults stayed very comfortably. Only 2 hot tubs working and they were full of many guests so did not use. Location is a very convenient walk to peak 9 and to town. Buses are free and also convenient

Property was just as presented on website. Best feature was it was walking distance to Peak 9 base. This also put us in reasonable walking distance to most restaurants for evening meals. Rooms were quiet even with small children next door. Wood consider it again.

Due to a weather system that closed I70 west bound and did not allow us to get up for our first night stay the management company would not cancel or refund us the one night. They then called and asked if they could rent out the unit as we would not not make it. I agreeded as I was hoping to get 1 night credit. But was not surprised when they did not rent it as I never found it up for rent. Very disappointed as this was not an issue with us traveling but mother nature was the reason and the high ways closed to get to Breckenridge. I have been in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and never had a company have ZERO understanding of the situation and just say should have gotten the travel insurance. Very disappointing and will make me think before booking with Great Western Lodging or VRBO in the future.
