"We absolutely loved our time at Sundrop Acres! The chickens and goats are so friendly and engaging. The view from each window is so beautiful. Jackie is an amazing hostess and the house has so many cozy nooks, you can’t help but feel relaxed. We especially loved the movie projector and DVD collection which includes several seasons of the Gilmore Girls and Disney favorites. Especially loved that it worked with very little effort - press play and you have your own movie theater inside. Also loved being able to play frisbee in the field and walking down the hill to play at the elementary school’s playground when school was closed. We were traveling with family age 76 to 7 with two teens in between. That’s quite a range of needs and everyone had a wonderful time! We loved being there in the Spring as the world renewed itself and help us to recharge, reconnect and renew our spirits as well. I definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. "Thumbs up: The breakfast is INCREDIBLE! Staff are all amazing and accommodating. Shampoo and body wash are mid but the conditioner is THE BEST!! My hair was so soft! A/C unit works great. The town is wonderful, even in a Saturday night there was hardly any traffic!! Thumbs down: Beds are rock hard. Curtains only go half way, so the room doesn't get dark. Light reflects off adjoining roof at night making it way too bright. Freezer in the mini-fridge is about 3" high. There is mold and a black ring around the pool and hot tub where the water hits the tiles. It's pretty gross "

"The house layout was so accommodating to just about anything you would want to do with a large group. Great open kitchen and dining area which was great for our family meals. Owner was super responsive and communication was excellent. "

"They were fantastic hosts. Very accommodating, and very helpful. Would highly recommend a stay! My only comment is that the listing says that it can sleep up to 26, and I can verify that it was maxed out with our 15 people. "

"We really loved staying here! Our first impression was that it was clean and decorated well. Just a really great atmosphere and we thought it was even more darling in person. Wendy and Jason let us check in early, which was beyond helpful- it seriously saved our whole day. Overall, really spacious, comfy and a perfect setup for what we needed. Hosts were great. We will definitely be coming back this winter to stay here for our annual ski trip."
